I dont understand why you're fed up with Rossi, no rules have been broken and its clear they were in a very desperate situation, wouldnt you do the same?

Not disputing, but if they had this planned since then, why has everyone had such long faces until they announced this?

As I have said, I have no problem as long as they are not running the 1000cc engine as well, although that might also be interesting.
I think that one should spend some more time sitting on the proverbial fence before getting too excited about the results from FP1... if MC & VR are still in similar positions when the chequered flag is waved at the end of Saturdays race, then that will be a good time to celebrate... Until then, I for one will remain a fascinated spectator...

Yean I know, I know, but hey recently the weekends standings have not altered too much from FP1 to race end....I must admit it certainly has got a lot more interesting, the performance of the Pramacs and Hector should be a worthwhile spectacle in comings weeks if they get the new bike as well.
If this is what was needed to bring the Ducati up to speed, fine with me.
It's prototype racing. I don't like the concept of sealed engines, but I understand the reasoning behind it.
But ultimately I think the teams should be able to change just about anything on the bike during the season, as long as they stay within the regulations. New chassis? Fine. V4 instead of an I4? Great, go ahead! I'd even love to see more tyre manufacturers available to the teams, with the option to test them all and pick what suits their rider/bike the best for each race.
The engine and testing limits are there for a reason, but I don't have to like it. If the bike that crosses the finish line at the last race of the season is vastly different from the one used at the start of it, I'd say it's a good sign that there's some serious development going on all through the season. Prototypes are just that, prototypes, and should see some serious changes if needed.
But I still hope Casey takes the victory
