Agreed, Barry, but it's a big ask. Whilst Vale's consistency on the podiums is to be applauded, he has only been really close to the pointy end a couple of times this year, Qatar and LeMans if my memory serves me correctly, (but I am open to correction).

Can we just focus on the racing for once?

Michael, you once said that when a man loves something, he will spend his very last dime
Trying to hold on to what he needs
He'd give up all his comforts
And sleep out in the rain
If his love said that's the way
It ought to be.

Going by your beliefs, Don’t you think that if Keshav really loved MotoGp, he wouldn’t complain about sleeping in the private quarters of a rusty RV in order to see one?

Quiet because of no race weekend.

If Marquez wins, it will be business as usual.

If Lorenzo wins there will be more talk about how Ducati blew it.

If Cal wins, there will be a round of grudging well dones.

If Dovi wins, the usual prognosticators will say they knew it was coming.

But, if Rossi does win, talk of Michelin conspiracies will follow, and discussions here will no doubt stretch on for a lot longer than a few days past the weekend.

If he wins in current circumstances it will be highly meritorious, given the bike doesn’t seem that great currently and the tires haven’t been suiting him, so gainsaying him will be difficult.

Most “haters” on here have trouble with his off-track manipulation rather than his riding.

To be fair, I suspect he traveled to California from New York to see the race and was going to watch it in one situation or another.

LOL, I wasn't expressing the Valeban point of view bemoaning the "haters" tearing down the accomplishments of Rossi. Just making an observation about topics that generate a lot of posts.

Doesn't really answer the question.

He went and finagled his way into having a member give up his personal space due to needing special sleeping arrangements. Then proceeds to slag off said member by saying he had a rusty RV among other deplorable things.

He may have gone to watch the race but how he conducted himself was poor.

That is a separate issue from being a keen fan of the sport however.

Sure it was an honor to be invited to spend the weekend with Jumkie’s forum gathering, and reflective of Jumkie’s kindness and generosity.

Anyway, we should leave this, particularly given Keshav himself is not promoting any debate currently.

How many more times are you going to tell us your going to Assen?

He wants to pretend all the vile and disgusting .... he has said about people never happened. Desperate for attention and brags about going to a race like he is special.

I want a Rossi victory. I'd applaud a MM victory. I'd be cool with a JLo hat trick as well. But I would really like to see Rossi pull one out of his arse.

You did mention tires. I think the tire which has suited Jorge should continue to be available to him, but if Michelin improve the tire supply for the other riders including Valentino, far from being problematic it is what they should be doing. For Valentino the problem is that a tire which particularly suits him is likely to also suit MM. Although not a particular Vinales fan, I did think it was completely unfair to withdraw the tire he started the season with last season, which has subsequently been recognised by a regulation.

As an armchair observer of racing, I make no claims to any behind the scenes insights into the oft alleged shennanigans at Dorna or Michelin. I neither endorse nor discount the conspiracies said to stack the deck in favor of this or that rider. Given the kind of money involved, nothing would surprise me. That said, with all the ineptitude demonstrated by Dorna in so many other facets of the organization, I suspect that carelessness and incompetence are behind the flawed running of the organization more often than premeditated finagling. Having observed the poor quality of the Michelin fronts since they took over from Bridgestone and the length of time required to get their tires, relatively, up to par, I view Michelin more like The Gang That Couldn't Shoot Straight (a favorite old film) or perhaps The Lady Killers rather than the Deathstar Crew.

Still haven't figured out you're irrelevant have you Lil' Methhead?

looking forward to this race meeting, will answer a lot of questions about Lorenzo's recent performances and as mentioned by someone above, Rossi generally goes well here so we may well see a 5-6 rider fight for supremacy over the whole weekend.

Would be great to see Pedrosa pull a Pedrosa Perfect meeting.

So we know Blotus and pantsdown have zero self control. Let’s see if Kesh has the intestinal fortitude not to feed the fire.

I gave up on any giving a .... about the health and well being of this forum, after watching Jums name get dragged around, slandered and pissed on, with hardly anyone here naming the problem.
That guy has done more good to people he has met on this forum than you will ever find anywhere. Have any of you ever come across someone so generous and hospitable to so many he has never met. I’m not even talking about the philanthropy he does outside the forum, that most of you don’t even know about. Jum has personally met you a few times and has spoke in nothing but glowing terms about you Povol.
Michael M, Birdie, Gaz, will go toe to toe with you if one quip is thrown out about Stoner, a person they don’t know personally, will never meet, and will certainly never be friends with. They call Jum a friend and yet stand by with their thumbs up their ..... when he’s getting slandered. A bunch of worthless starfuckers.
Just about the rest of the forum are a bunch of cowardly ..... as well. I have lost respect for all but a handful of people that had the balls to stand up. The rest of you can go .... yourselves with your I just wanna talk racing .........
That window has passed. Like Jum says, You get the forum you deserve
