My prediction for FP2 is that I will have to go back to work before it starts.

no electricity in the pits for timing / tyre warmers etc it happened before 125 FP2 As well



CE Reckons someone plugged a vibrator in with the wrong power rating for the supply

Either something stronger than peyote, straight mescaline or perhaps adrenochrome, or a rather deep level of parody. I am inclining towards the latter.
 
The same guy that attempted to change Jumkie's tire at Laguna, must be an electrician also. He just travels the GP circuit as a jack of all trades troubleshooter.

No ..... How pathetic is that? Seems GP needs to have their own generators on hand at every event for this kind of thing, eh?



What is concerning to me is how quickly they moved to cancel practice. Maybe they heard it was a catastrophic failure and there was no way to simply delay...OK, that's one thing. But I get the feeling GP is maybe just a bit cavalier about whether or not their riders get track time for an event or not...more concerned with other revenue generating side shows. Let something else take the hit...like a stupid VIP dinner, press conference or something like that...not practice. Geez.
 
why couldn't the bikes have gone around untimed, don't people in the teams have stop watches and have unofficial lap times as a base instead of losing a session?
