The Sebring 12 hours went down last Saturday with an awesome finish in the baby GT (GT2) class. While the ALMS LMP1 and GT1 classes are ailing, LMP2 and GT2 could almost stand alone as a 2-class series! The following is a link to the last half lap or so of the GT2 race. Some are unhappy with how the finish went down, comparing it to NA$CAR. While I can see the argument against it, what was Melo supposed to do after 12 hours? Just look over and wave at Bergmeister?

Enjoy! http://youtube.com/watch?v=fbl_Yjm7VBk

That was a ridiculous ending.
Bergmeister cam back from a gew seconds behind to almost take it!
Incredible finish and very well thought out last few turns by both of them. I was rooting for Melo the last few laps so I dont see anything wrong. There was a slight bump but it was not intentional and too hard.

The first bump might be the questionable one but the second bump I credit to the aerodynamic forces pushing and pulling at the same time between the two cars and all that nonsense.

Snow, wasn't that a spectacular view from Bergmeister's on-board camera entering the back stretch? The fireworks exploding in the distance reminds me of something one would find in one of those cheesy "Ridge Racer" games.

Hahaha very true.
That was an awesome race. I tuned it in because I was bored waiting for the F1 race to come on and I am glad I did!
