AMA NEWS FOR 2012

Sack, Still no ride for Tommy pg24

http://cyclenews.cov...zyyba.gif/#pg23

He says he had an offer from BSB but his heart would not have been in it. He has a family so thats understandable. Also says he was not being picky about money in the AMA he just wanted a good ride. I got the impression he would ride for free if it came to that. Says he is still hopeful he can find something this year. Would have been cool to see him back on a Kawasaki especially if it turns out to be a good ride.

That's what I was thinking. If Kawasaki want to sell ZX-10s, but Tommy on a well-turned out Attack version, and let him get some camera time. Fans would be relieved to see more manufacturers at the front.

Bah, hoping for the best but its not looking good.

Not sure how Tommy would fare on a Kwak. He's a really smooth rider and seems to look uncomfortable pushing when things aren't right. I think he would still be on the sharper end but not a championship ride. But heh when you have no ride at what point to you become less picky.

"The championship battle was wide enough with three or more riders in contention for the title and no shortage of sniping off-track. The comments led one world champion to be temporarily banned from one team's transporter, while other assorted bits of mind games and slights continued on during the season."

Who got banned? What did I miss?

Hey Pov, here is your big chance to tell Robertino that your riding buddies can school him and let him know what a piece of crap he is and all.

Here is your chance to admit that Robertino has zero business riding in a Moto GP race, if the best he can do is 2.5 seconds off pole in a DSB race.

Robertiino, . I dont personally think you are a piece of crap, but there are hundreds of riders who are more deserving than you to ride a Moto GP bike in a race. Having a rich daddy should not be a qualifier as to who gets to ride in the pinnacle of bike racing.

.... Vesrah. Theyve never won .... anyway. Starting off the weekend being 4 seconds back and barely making progress showed me that his team didnt know what they were doing.

.... Suzuki as well.

Im hoping to see some dual tuning forks in his future

Benny Solis and Vesrah end their relationship.

This does not surprise me. Even at Daytona, things didn't seem quite right within the team to me. There didn't seem any team unity. I know Benny was new kid on the block and competition to the incumbent riders, but it just didn't seem a welcoming environment. From the impression I got, not sure Benito was happy there from the beginning ( only my impression ). A happy rider is a fast rider ! Go #35 !

You enthusiasm is encouraging.

You sir have a great intuition and talent for observation.

Ok...I'm guessing you know what's in Benny's future and can't say anything yet?

I'm not God. But I'd bet Benny's future will be bright.

You sir are God. You smelled a rat back at Daytona.

I had my reservations after seeing the makeup of his team but never expected it to blow up so soon.

All hail the enlightened one Jumkie

Well Benny did great with his own people last season, i hope something can be put together so he can finish this season. Good luck benny from your UK fan club.

Hunnerd an twenny bucks for an AMA pit shirt? Is there cocaine in the pocket?

Dumb Englishman full of 3 days and nights worth of bloody marys, beers and shots. No sleep and standing in the sunshine at Daytona with my buddies.

One twenty sounded like a good deal at the time
