Does anyone know an accurate weather forecast for tomorrow's race? I thought maybe we could use a thread to post weather updates throughout the next 14 hours up until the race.

So far all I can find is 60% chance of rain & scattered showers throughout the day....

Sunny here.......motegi...

LIVE TIMING SAYS
Sunny
Air: 32deg
Ground: 42deg
Humidity: 42%
Wind: 8km/h

For something that maybe up to date look at:

Well 125cc Warm Up has just finished & their times were almost 20 seconds slower the rest of the weekend.

So I Guess This Means...........................

<span style="font-size:24pt;line-height:100%WET RACE PEOPLE!

(Which actually sucks becuase I don't like Wet Races
<
)

And unless Stoner gets in to trouble, & judging from previous experiences, Stoner should well and truly beat Rossi in the wet & seal up the title!

Westy is starting from the second row ... he should have a good chance of a podium today ... if he keeps it upright and on the track!

japan is a small island, so rain showers are very very common, then full sunshine comes through 15 minutes later and track gets 100% dry again.

could be Stoners salvation too!!! after sucha bad FP and QP to get rain must surely give him some confidence.

Bring on the wet race!! Australian trifecta!!!!!!!!!

Wouldn't that be something.........

I normally hate wet races .... except Donnington 07 that was a beauty.

But I'm hoping for rain at Motegi just to "finish the thing!!" ...

I still wonder why three guys, from the most arid continent on earth!!, .... are good wet weather racers??

But then again being from the most arid continent on earth myself ... I have at times revelled/cellebrated/played in/gone "YAHOO" about, the coming of rain ...... this could be one of those lucky breaks LOL

Now this means that brigedstone riders have the upperhand.. THats wy i think one tire would equal everything.. Because the weather gives certain tires a significant advantage. So the rider skill is minimal. I hope that it goes to the one tire rule.

How wet does it look??
Wet for the next 4 hrs wet?

At present the rain hasn't fell since the start of the 125 race but there's still plenty of cloud visible in the background so the chance of more showers is high.

The track seemed as wet at the end of the race as it was at the start too?

Interesting to note that in the morning warm up Casey ended up 2nd & Vale wound up outside the top 10! Hmmm...

I'm getting email updates from my girlfriend who is at the racetrack. It's definitely coming down, last I heard.
