I think it will come down to 'Stoner vs Puig'
Stoner and the evil dwarf are the two who can be in a class of their own when things are right. Sad to say, but the one who comes out on top might be the one who controls development. Who will that be?
I think it wont be long before HRC realize what they've got and start backing Stoner. Then it'll be HRC's turn to put their foot down against Puig. I think people are expecting too much drama.
i guess because he isn't a Repsol rider, although i wouldn't be surprised to see him beat the weakest of the Repsol riders next year (who i imagine will be Dovi)

Seems reasonable to assume HRC will have anticipated resistance by Puig
but in the end - their desire to have the championship again will have them
backing Stoner. Puig can only drag out the drama but so far. Pedrosa's had
enough time and hasn't given the hoped for results. What with HRC now
being saddled with the expense of three full factory bikes the motivation
to win will be that much greater. Their frustration with Pedro's inability
to win the big one must be painful and embarrassing; their patience with
Puig's politics must have it's limits. My money is on Stoner. Spending zillions
of dollars and walking around for years with egg on their faces is not the
something the Japanese are real big on.

I agree, they have 3 bikes in the team and locked Repsol down for 2 more years. Now they can let the results talk and get on with sorting the bike out for whichever rider is getting it done.

Pedrosa unfortunately will self implode under the pressue being applied by Stoner and bin it and spend a portion of the season hurt.

Dani will have it thru consistency, I`m sure Casey is going to throw that Honda up the road once or twice while he finds the limits thru the season.
Would somebody be able to give me the coles notes version on Puig? I see him referenced all the time here, I know he's Pedrosa's manager. Does he weild a lot of power at HRC Repsol? Sorry, I just feel like I walked into the middle of the movie.
i think the question should be who will crash the least? they are all capable of scoring lots of points. Honda seem to be the best bike out there
Stoner for sure.Even with speed,tallent,and abillity to adapt aside,Pedrosa seems to have some voodo spell on him to get really injured just about every season.Stoner can afford one or two DNF's and still beat him i think.
I know i sound like Stoner is going to save us all kind of fan,but i think it's going to be more about Lorenzo,Rossi and Stoner next year.I think Spies,Dovi,Simoncelli and Pedrosa will be behind those three next year.

he wears many hats. As well as being dani's personal manager, I think he has a role on dani's side of the garage at hrc, he runs the red bull young rider development programme, and also has some role with dorna.
Stoner, I don't see how the others would score more than him. Pedro is still recovering from injury that may or may not permanently affect is riding ability and I think Dovi isn't even going to be the best Italian on a Honda next season (Afro puff seems like he is going to usurp Dovi).

Satan thinks Alberto Puig is evil. Puig is Pedros manager while being a Dorna high level player. Puig is known for working to detrimentally effect any rider that poses a challenge to Pedrosa. Plus hes the most angry human on earth. Basically Puig uses all his power and influence to .... over anybody in his way. Plus hes been known to drown bags of puppies, curse Mother Teresa, and argues in support of priest pedophiles. All fact.
And, he agreed to have a photo taken with Jumkie.
Why wouldn't he agree, that was Puig's only chance to take his picture with Satan himself

Saw Aoyama and Puig having a chaton the test telecast the other day. Aoyama seemed to be having a happy chat with him.
