'23 Argentina GP

You may be correct.

However, with MotoGP having been turned into a Moto 2 style even playing field thanks to Ducati’s dominance, does it really matter?

Finally got around to watching the grand prix. Plenty of craziness to digest. Bagnaia deserves a big pat on the back for having a non-score in grand prix. A few more of those and we might have an interesting season.

Bezzechi rode an immaculate race. Not sure how he was able to get so much from the tires over race distance, maybe he was hitting every puddle (hah!). Zarco also did an amazing job racing to second place (nearly first) after struggling to get pace from the tires early in the race. Fabio seems totally lost. Alex Marquez is definitely this year's cruising caretaker. We'll have to see how the season evolves though. Decent work by Morbidelli, too, even if he lost the podium in the closing stages.

Seventeen bikes to start the grand prix? Five injuries and two missing Suzukis has thinned the grid worse than the financial crisis.

Morbidelli does well/likes low grip tracks. Fabio is the opposite it seems. So if COTA is hot and grippy then I expect we will see them back to their usual status quo.

That would be really cool. Except you know who would definitely race them and the yellow hoard would show up in mass.
...., I forgot about that. Maybe put them all on 2007-2011 Ducati's?

Is this the first time there were no Factory riders on the podium?

I can't recall this ever happening.
Not to sound like an 'wElL aCsHuAlY' guy, but technically isn't Zarco's Pramac a factory bike?

Technically all bikes are factory bikes. In the case of Pramac its this years factory bike. What would differ is the level of factory support and the strength of the team.
