Figured I'd start a thread about the buildup to the season. Covering team launches, testing, any other news prior to round 1.

I'll start with the Trackhouse livery reveal.

I was hoping the Gulf sponsorship would promise more....

They've said they will run a few liveries during the year. I'm hoping for a full on Gulf one. Maybe they'll just swap the yellow for orange though.

Gresini's livery really grew on me last year so perhaps the new Trackhouse will as well. As of now, I am not confident.

Bike design seems busier than previous iterations, consequence of more sponsors but still lacking a prominent main sponsor. Gone are the red shoulders of the leathers which is good imo, the increased black presence results in a more menacing look.

The red shoulders were only to hide the red mist of Vinales. Now he's gone they don't need it.

This looks like some 3D modeling image. Maybe in real life with lots of sponsor decals it won't look so dead.

Agree. There's no unifying color scheme to give the almost non-existent graphics a sense of direction or esthetic purpose. Just a unimaginative black void with a .... load of sticker plastered on. Still . . . makes me happy to see Jorge looking ready for the next season. Can't wait to see what he can do.
