Revealed: Pedro Acosta’s new helmet manufacturer after leaving MT Helmets

Marini aims to beat his team mate this yr:

Luca Marini’s first assessment of Repsol Honda - and the first rival he targets

He also believes Honda have the ability to get back to the front soon.

Marini: Honda ‘has the power’ to return to the front in MotoGP soon

So, bring it on. Opinions and smack talk are encouraged. None of us want to be ONE TRICK PONY's.

Isn't there a shakedown test starting February first? Where we could see Acosta taking part. (Acosta will be the rookie of year! LOL)

I didnt include the shakedown test because, as you pointed out, the only person of interest taking part in that, is Acosta.

These pictures are doing the rounds, with no source to verify if they are real or not. So, take it with a pinch of salt.

Looks like the 2024 Honda is going to look more like the testing livery seen over the years, with Repsol cutting back their financial input so Honda are going to predominantly promote their brand colours.

Repsol to have reduced presence in 2024 Honda MotoGP livery

I did chuckle at this bit:

Marquez’s eventual departure to Gresini Ducati has allowed Repsol to negotiate the finances of the deal and reduce its involvement. With that, Honda feels the contribution of Repsol as a sponsor is not enough to give it as prominent a presence on the livery of the RC213V.

In addition, the Japanese marque has been trying to strengthen its brand image, and one of its medium-term objectives is to expand the use of its corporate colours red, white and blue in all factory teams across various disciplines. Honda already uses this colour scheme in World Superbike, Dakar and motocross.

Honda’s decision has not gone down well with Repsol, which is continuing negotiations with the Tokyo-based brand to expand its presence on the factory prototypes.

So Repsol says 'Yeah we aren't paying you as much because Marquez is no longer on the bike'

Honda says 'Ok, we will reduce your branding on the bike in accordance with what you are paying us'

Mostly looking forward to getting back to watching the sport after barely following it for a long time. I’m hopeful that HRC can possibly start turning things around to become competitive and Yamaha make a step forward. I’m interested whether Marc can bounce back a challenge on the Ducati.

Those who expected a renewed livery (me amongst them) will end up disappointed.

A graphics design team was paid very well for exactly 5 seconds of work designing this. Thats triple the amount of time the Repsol designers have worked in the last 15 years.

Perhaps many are taking a wait and see approach to MM, if he is the real deal on the Duke then things could change very quickly me thinks !!!
