I wonder if Nakagami will be back some day as a wild card. Could this not be his last Japanese GP?

Isn't it time for Vinales to start doing fastest laps? Or will that be in three laps time?
 
I think this is what Marc was talking about when he said Pedro rides with too much risk. I mean yes there is potential for good things if he can stay upright, but at this level, I feel it's too much on a bike like the KTM which he was clearly pushing harder and harder each lap.

He didn't need to be 0.7s faster than Bagnaia in a single lap. He was fast enough to win with a safety margin.
 
I have to say I didn’t really enjoy that sprint.
Motegi is traditionally not the best track when it comes to producing exciting racing, but it was made worse with everyone walking around on eggshells due to the championship situation.

Acosta hopefully learns a little bit about managing risk vs reward.

Let’s see what tomorrow brings.
