So, we have the spoilers tag, I'll go ahead and post my thoughts on Hangtown.
Villopoto! Wow, very unusual for him to open the first round looking so good, and RV has admitted that Hangtown is his bogey track. That's bad news for everyone if RV stays healthy, I don't think he can go 24-0 not with this stacked field of 450 riders, but he sure's hell can make the races boring for non RV fans. I do think Ryan Dungey can make a championship run and he will be better prepared in Lakewood, Colorado this weekend. Biggest shocker for me was to see James Stewart in the top 3, I honestly didn't think he would be in the top 3 with his knee injury, you can still see flashes of brilliance in his riding, truly sad he didn't participate in past national series, he would have had a few more championships to show for it if he had.
250 races were great, I still think Blake Baggett is the baddest dude this side of Ryan Villopoto to throw a leg over a 250 in the outdoor series. Gotta give it to Roczen though, he rode a great race and doesn't appear to be scared to take it to the defending champ Baggett. 250 field is stacked this year with Baggett, Roczen, Musquin, and Tomac, Any of those guys could win the championship.
450: RV, RD, JS
250: KR, BB, ET
