Hangtown complete, but I won't give away the results just yet as both moto's haven't been aired.

One comment for 450's....Dayum!!!!

So, we have the spoilers tag, I'll go ahead and post my thoughts on Hangtown.

Villopoto!  Wow, very unusual for him to open the first round looking so good, and RV has admitted that Hangtown is his bogey track.  That's bad news for everyone if RV stays healthy, I don't think he can go 24-0 not with this stacked field of 450 riders, but he sure's hell can make the races boring for non RV fans.  I do think Ryan Dungey can make a championship run and he will be better prepared in Lakewood, Colorado this weekend.  Biggest shocker for me was to see James Stewart in the top 3, I honestly didn't think he would be in the top 3 with his knee injury, you can still see flashes of brilliance in his riding, truly sad he didn't participate in past national series, he would have had a few more championships to show for it if he had.

250 races were great, I still think Blake Baggett is the baddest dude this side of Ryan Villopoto to throw a leg over a 250 in the outdoor series.  Gotta give it to Roczen though, he rode a great race and doesn't appear to be scared to take it to the defending champ Baggett.  250 field is stacked this year with Baggett, Roczen, Musquin, and Tomac, Any of those guys could win the championship.

450: RV, RD, JS

250: KR, BB, ET

Haven't been able to find a video of the second moto yet but holy .... did RV smoke em or what. Looking forward to watching the second moto when it shows up on YouTube.

Was it on speed? I havnt seen it yet

JK, the races are aired on NBCSport and Fuel, also I think a few races will be on NBC.  Check out AlliSports for the schedule.

Round 2 and the Ryan's are in control, with Ryan Villopoto really in control!  When he decides to pull the pin he's on another ....... planet.  I don't think he goes 24-0 but he sure looks at ease on that Kawasaki at the moment, and that's bad news for the rest of the field.

250 race was interesting, looks like Tomac and Roczen will be cream of the crop this year with both riding exceptionally well.  The title will be in one of their hands at the end of the season.

Watched moto2 last night.  Barring injury the championship is over.  RV is just too good.

I think Dungey is going to win a round or two.  I honestly think Villopoto is holding a little in reserve.

He may win a moto or 2 but it will require an RV crash or at least a very very poor start.  If necessary I reckon that RV has 20sec on RD over a moto.

It really is insane the pace he has.  I have not been watching for a huge number of years but I can't recall even RC having so much extra pace to the rest of the field.

I'm not looking at any post, as I have yet to catch up on the racing.  Seriously, I'm still catching up on SX.  Long explanation, but I've been busy.  I don't know what is happening, but either way, Go Dungey!

Get with the program RJ!

go roczen, go dungey.

bravo kenny :) can't wait for him to join the 450s, he'll do some serious damage there (championship wise, hes not marquez duh)

Cliche...I don't know if we can classify Roczen German anymore? Seems he's taken to the Southern California lifestyle and surfing everyday...lol   It's all good though, I like the kid a lot, and I think he can hoist the championship trophy at the end of the year after an epic battle with Tomac.  It's too bad that Blake Baggett is still recoving from his wrist injury, he's scary fast when 100% healthy in the outdoor series.

pff who gives a .... if hes german , i don't and i wouldn't if i was german.

what impresses me more is his mofa gang, the dude is  super likeable :)

also i hope that his success will improve how the mx1/2 WC is seen. i understand that the AMA is the pinnacle of motox but the WC should at least be to the AMA what sbk is to gp or rather bsb to wsbk.

+ i'm quite tired of villopoto winning everything and i don't see anyone in 450s on his level tbh...new blood from 250s needed and i think roczen has everything it takes to become a mega star if he stays focused

The only rider from the Euro GP's I would like to see in the AMA right now is Herlings...that dude is on another planet at the moment.
