Maybe he'll win a race! I'm eager to see what he can do with it, although realistically speaking, I'm only expecting him to maybe get a podium finish in one of the remaining races.
I'm sure he'll be able to help with the developing though.

I'm smoking junlge weed shipped from Africa, really strong stuff.
But I'm just saying MAYBE he'll reach the podium once, for example if there are some crashes in the front or other incidents like that. Let's say that he rides a good race and reaches top 5 when someone who usually is near the front has a bad day and another one crashes letting Nakano finish 3rd! It's possible!!! Seriously!

Is this the “getting ready for 2009” test platform hedging the control tyre bet?
That would probarbly be one of the reasons.
As Bridgestone has said no to the Repsolteam maybe HRC is going to push for control tyre at the end of this season. http://www.motorcyclenews.com/MCN/sport/sp...mp;R=EPI-102327

Yes, HRC don't have a Bridgestone test team, and so far haven't made any notable effort to work with anyone other than Michelin. Giving Nakano the latest bike is a positive step in my opinion

and the only logical explenation as to why dovi didn't get the bike.

It also has a lot to do with experience and language. Getting a rookie to lead development is obviously not good for either party, and the engineers and test riders will find comunication with Nakano far easier than any other Honda rider in motogp. DeAngelis was still faster though!!
