Actually the last race, Lozzy kept his cool under pressure and it was Dovi who binned it. So I think these 2 aren't that different after all.

I think that the only chance Lorenzo has is if he calms down and learns to ride patiently like Dovisioso. For example, last race of the year, both need a win to get the title. Dovi will ride patiently tucked up behind Lorenzo, who will make a mistake and bin it, because he's too intense.

Passini(ITA) won the 125cc race by a hundreth of a second over Bautista (SPA) in a questionable manouver where he used his elbow to block Bautista when side by side in the last meters of the race.
This result almost seals Bautista's championship, with 6 races left he leads by 64 points over Kallio (FIN).


Takahashi (JAP) won the 250cc race overtaking De Angelis (RSM) in the last corner, Lorenzo ended 3rd and Dovi 4th which means Lorenzo takes the lead of the championship from Dovi.

No 125 cc. or 250 cc in the US this year, yet again, I presume?

I'm going to miss them.

How will Laguna Seca replace them, with monster trucks?

Bet a few motogp riders will envy the holidays of their colleagues

brilliant race in the 125's ... great chase by kallio and fantanstic work by bautista to keep his cool in that last corner chase ...

have to feel sorry for Pesek ...so close yet so far...

My heart's out for Pesek... that must really be frustrating.

Brilliant job from Kallio and Bautista! Just like what the commentator said, Mika can't blame himself..he did the right thing at the right time... Bautista was just really stubborn to be contented with 2nd place.

250 Lozzy ran away with it, thought Aoyama was going to get 2nd but Dovi kept his cool to pass him in the last chicane.

Bautista will be on a 250cc factory Aprilia next year, most probably in the same team he is now.

With him, Kallio and Lüthi going up to 250cc and Lozzy and Dovi staying it could be a cracker of a season.

Did Dovi chose to stay in 250`s? Because I think he could have scored a decent ride in MotoGP next year, especially with Lozzy staying in the smaller class.

i think its best if dovi stays another year in the 250's ... IMO de puniet stoner and pedrosa moved up too quickly ... I KNOW they are hitting the MGP world in a storm but ... meyeh i dunno, i think another year in the 250's ... at least for stoner and depuniet wouldve done good
