Zemke signs with Erion Honda

Jake has signed with Erion.
It's a step down in terms of not riding a superbike anymore but HRC
doesn't run the Supersport class so this puts another talented rider
in that class. Roger Lee, Josh Hayes, Josh Herrin, Zemke, Geoff May, Cardenas, Rapp, Tommy Hayden maybe Chaz on the Attack Kawi and a slew of other good young riders. This should be some great racing.
The Erion FX bike is good enough for a win at Daytona also.
I would love to see Zemke beat DuHamel and Mr Mouth Hodgson
in that race.
It's a pity though that HRC doesn't give him 1 more year on the new superbike. He hasn't been any better or worse than Miguel on it.

I'm not sure what the timeline of signings was, but I think Zemke is just being pushed aside for Hodgson. He (hodgson) did well at Laguna, and honda probably think they have a better chance with him. This season Zemke was decent, but he didn't set the world on fire, actually he was average just like pretty much every factory rider except Spies and Mladin.
I was interested to learn that the bike Hodgson rode at Laguna was the HRC test bike dressed up like a carona honda.

Agree except with putting Cardenas in that list. The ....... guy should be banned from the AMA until he learns to ride a bike among racers. He is out of control and a total ...... He has zero concept of allowing the points leaders to battle it out. He is recklessly willing to effect the outcome not by racing but by catastrophe. The guy is another Dani Pedrosa, fast but stupid.

I agree with the rest. Yes, I think this is the series to watch. The superbike is nothing more that two Suzuki guys running around with grid filler, not because the talent isn't there, but because the machines have zero parity.
