True. Hasnt he been beaten there 2 years in a row now? he wont like that will he? and the form hes on this year he'l kick axx...
It is going to be an unbelievable race. Rossi has a point to prove there after posting only one win and three close losses in five attempts and is in top form. Barros is coming off a strong ride at Donington and always goes well at Sachsenring scoring a win in 2000 and assuredly a podium in 2002 before him and Jacque came together. Hayden has a 5th and a 3rd in his first two races, if those results becomes a pattern he will win the German round this year. Biaggi has the best record at the track being the only premier class multi winner taking victory in 2001 and 2004. Edwards is also in top form and has a fair record at the German track placing in the top 5 in 2004. I think it is the weekend Edwards will overtake Melandri in the points. Here is my top 5.
1. Rossi
2. Hayden
3. Biaggi
4. Edwards
5. Barros
Here's to the Movistar Hondas falling into the clutches of Barros and Hayden in the championship points standings.
Jacque should put in an impressive run pushing for the top 5 if his Bridgestones can last. The same can be said for John Hopkins and 1999 winner Kenny Roberts Jr.
Rossi`s off during free practice was merely to lull the rest into thinking they have a chance but he really doesn`t like the Sachsenring! Watch Edwards, he is on a high after Donnington (but then he was good there in Superbikes remember). Barros is always good at the Sachsenring and will be this week again. Gibernau will be an also ran again! Max will be spectacular until he falls again but Xaus will be more entertaining in the thrills and spills department.
