We were pitted right next to Mike Baldwin a fellow AAMRR racer. At night to blow off steam we would go to the local Go Kart track, and there were on any night, a bunch of top guys like John Bettencourt, Wes Cooley and other serious pros. A lot of fun.

Seeing as you clearly don't know how the racing world works, go and look at what a season of kart racing costs you, then go and look at what a season of the slowest single seater racing cars cost you. I do a season of racing for under $10000, it's a minimum of $100,000 for single seater feeder series, often for cars that a seconds a lap slower on road courses than the superkarts I race. Give me $100,000 and I'll go and race cars so you can then go and watch 'little boys' racing at your local kart track.

I understand morons like you go to your local Alton Towers and think the 15mph speed limited go karts there are the pinnacle of karting, but they are not. Ayrton Senna stated his greatest rival ever was an adult kart racer, multiple world champion Terry Fullterton.



As for your pathetic 'everyone else' statement. I know hundreds of adults who race karts. Why don't you progress to MotoGP like every other bike rider, instead of pissing around like a wannabe at a track day? Whether you like it or not it's a legitimate question.

As for karts, the only experience I have is at an indoor facility near where I live, very quick circuit but tight and twisty. Fun as hell but I'd love to get out on a real track. I'd be slow as hell but hey, it's still fun.
