Ok Guys

With months of non track action upon us and a variety of threads in the past of bits & peices of what we would like to see happening with the rules, tracks blah blah blah.

So heres ya chance to tell us all what you would like to see. Now as there have been many threads that have been done to death on things such as engines, power, weight, fuel, tyres etc etc this is just on the Calender!! Where would you like to see these guys race. Its not quite as simple as just a list of your favourite places though, they have to be legitimate tracks in race use capable of upholding the event. Also in todays cash strapped times you need to think about when these races will take place throughout the year taking into account the enormous logistical costs of globe trotting and the weather as well as the regular star, finish & summer break times.

Mine is below - To save the details of going into actaul race dates for all of 2011 i have split it into week numbers -

Circuit Country Month Week No.

Losail Qatar March 2

Suzuka Japan March 3

Kyalami South Africa April 1

Jerez Spain April 3

Le Mans France May 1

Monza Italy May 2

Assen Holland May 4

Silverstone UK June 1

Sachsenring Germany June 2

Mugello Italy June 3

Catalunya Spain June 4

Laguna SecaUsa July 2

Imola Italy August 1

Donnington UK August 2

Nurbugring Germany August 3

Aragon Spain August 4

Portimaio Portugal September 1

Texas Usa September 2

Brno Czech September 4

Misano Rimini October 1

Texas Usa October 3

Phillip Isl Australia November 4

Sepang Malaysia November 1

Motegi Japan October 2

Lets see what sort of season we can come up with eh.

Enjoy!!

I just think it would make so much more sense to have Laguna and Indy back to back.

Financially, it's a no brainer instead of hauling everything to Europe in between.

The Texas circuit won't be done until 2012,

there is no point in putting 2 Texas races in 2011

Places I'd like to see on the GP calendar:

Miller, Utah US

Welkom, South Africa

Rio, Brazil

Portimao, Portugal

Places I'd like to see off the GP calendar:

Misano, San Marino

Jerez, Spain

Indianapolis, Indiana US

Good point Shovel just thought it would be better to split the races between countries up a bit but as you say it may well be a better set-up back to back.

I think it would hurt attendance if the US races were back to back. Not many people can afford it, or have a work schedule that would allow it.

Good point too Pov, see we should be running things not the Dorna .........!!

50 litres of fuel

twin turbo V8's

No electronics

10 grid girls per slot (G€oes without saying that a bikini is a fundamental requirement & white t-shirt for the wet)

And of course Flag To Flag fairing bashin

Should be modified so there is a maximum of 2 races per country. Personally I think 1 race per country should be all that is allowed but I will cut you all some slack!!!

Sorta disagree. Not if they are spaced out by two weeks and on opposite coasts. There are plenty of peeps on each side that would go.

Mental, the US by itself is as big as Europe who host 10+ rounds. ...., Spain holds 4 rounds and is probably smaller than California. I say take two from Spain, give one to Brazil and one to South Africa. Keep two in the US, and maybe find a place in Canada to host a round.

Absolutely. The one in Canada can replace one of the races in Italy. Than the UNFAIR advantage that Italian and Spanish riders have can be minimised...

Buddy, you're gonna need to do more than just move venues to eliminate that advantage.

Haven't a clue about dates of races or any kind of order, but as for tracks I'd have these

Mugello

Donington

Assen

Spa Francochamps

Monza

Jerez

Sachsenring

Laguna Seca

Brno

Paul Ricard

Aragon

Sepang

Interlagos

Phillip Island

Estoril

Suzuka

Istanbul

Kyalami

Possibly the new track in Delhi, though I'd wait till next October to see if it's any good first.

Rio, Brazil

Was gonna put that myself as I always liked it, but I thought they demolished it a few years back so I've put Sao Paulo instead.

To do Laguna and Indy back to back has to be done with one weekend off.

2300 miles between the two tracks in 2 days can only be done with team drivers and that's pushing it.
