Yamaha - weird events

Looking back.
Vinales did good, became #1 rider in the team. Then suddenly faded, nobody knows why.
Then Zarco. For some time it did look like he is going to be #1 Yamaha rider. He almost won once, just his factory-crippled bike could not compete with factory Honda of Crutchlow in the straight. And then the same thing happened - sudden loss of speed, nobody knows why.
Same time Rossi performance did not suffer such sharp blows.
Rossi is distancing himself from Yamaha woes. I'm just a rider he claims.

So what is really going on inside of Yamaha? It almost looks like Vinales and Zarco were sabotaged. And also it looks like they do not have a rider capable of professional feedback?

Problem = rossi
They yamaha got what they deserve. Choosing to sell merchandise instead of looking towards the future. Of course they could do a repeat of 2004 and steal a Honda rider. It is what they are good at.

And this just in > Vinales will drop three grid places (from 11th to 14th) judged to have been 'riding in an irresponsible manner, being slow on the racing line' and 'disturbing another rider' in qualifying.
And one of the flopsy 46 academy is also part of that grid drop. See, problem = rossi

I read that Yamaha didn’t sell that many sports bikes in the USA in spite of Rossi popularity and they are moving their headquarter from SoCal, the capital of bikes in the US, to some podunk state on the east coast to cut cost.

But yea, I laugh at their current decline.

Don't know. Too many coincidents. The only logical conclusion is someone is pulling strings behind the scenes. Is Yamaha placing all bets on Rossi and putting brakes to everyone who is faster?

Too far I think. If Yamaha are prepared to turn down the bikes of other Yamaha riders from the pits to help Rossi, why didn't they do so in 2015?.

As I said on the other thread I see it more the other way, that Yamaha have become so incompetent that Rossi won't want to be involved with a Yamaha race team in his retirement. I am a Jorge fan and obviously see Rossi as being involved in Jorge's departure from Yamaha which hasn't helped the direction of their bike imo, but I also think Yamaha haven't gone anywhere near to replacing what Furusawa brought, and are likely struggling for funds in comparison with the resourced Honda and Ducati motogp equipes.

Hey now that's my home state we are talking about. I work next door to Honda South East HQ. Also we have Coca Cola, Mercedes Benz & Porsche to name a few that's based here.

That was all self inflicted when they made that big money offer to you know. Like I said, don't feel sorry for them.

I suspect the Ducati and Honda factory teams have similar budgets as far as rider salaries are concerned. Whether Yamaha's could have been better allocated is a different question.

Even traditionally Yamaha haven't done much with their bike in season, and relied on being smarter than Honda engineering wise ie having Furusawa in their employ, rather than having anything like Honda's engineering budget/engineering resources in general. I think it is fairly likely Ducati have now joined Honda in having a much larger engineering budget than Yamaha has, and in being able to make major changes in season (Honda can produce and have in the past produced a complete new chassis in-season), not that they can change the engines which is the most recent claim as far as where Yamaha's current problems lie.

Vinales: Everybody is going faster this year, only Yamaha is going slower. So how comes they are slower now? What kind of development results in slower bike?

Much as I dislike both Rossi and Lorenzo, Yamaha made a big mistake in letting Lorenzo go, they should have pushed Rossi out the door when Vinales joined as there certainly wouldn't have been the animosity that has made Yamaha revert to its long period in the 90's of no wins.
As for whats happened this weekend, yes Yamaha have definitely stuffed a spoke in the wheels of Zarco and Vinales who have been so much better than the fake doctor, just so i imagine they can sell a few more tshirts.

At some point they must realize the tactics to keep the yellow fastest Yamaha is backfiring and finishing outside of top six is not that glorious nor helps it sell their bike.
Vinales is tight-lipped when asked what's wrong. Maybe one day he starts speaking.

He needs to open his mouth pronto, otherwise next season will be worse regardless of their WSB electrical genius.

Atlanta's a freakin' great town. Lots of wonderful memories from racing at Road Atlanta.

I like to read morons thinking out loud.
It makes me feel thankful to have won the genetic lottery.

A genetic lottery which seems to have gifted you with the capacity to be wrong about gp bike racing most of the time.

In his case, more like a genesiological raffle at a carnival side-show at an in-bred circus.
