Congrats to Cal, he toyed with Rea in both races. When he pulled the pin, it was no contest. Lets see if he can carry that success on tracks that are not considered home.

Fantastic day for the Brits, how it should be at the home track.Very impressed by Camiers fight.

If Rea keeps it rubber side down I think he's hard to beat. Would love to see Suzuki provide Haslm with what he needs to win, and even if they don't I suspect he will still do well...finger crossed for him.

Biaggi....will ride a safe race and possibly podium and be happy with that.

.edit....I forgot about Toseland, maybe the Rossi advice on bike setup will give the Yamaha guys some new things to try?

Wow, goes to show how bad I suck at predictions...no mention of Crutchlow anywhere and the dude was nails this weekend. Was hoping Rea could get the win in the 2nd race but Crutch was just playing with him. So maybe he took the Rossi bike setup advice?

Yes it was a great day for the Brits!!!! Lets hope they all carry the momentum into the remaining rounds.

For Queen and Country this weekend. All Brit podiums in both races.

Race 1. Cal finally notches a victory. Yamaha's first of the year. Rea did everything he could, but Crutchlow had just a little more waiting. Haslam had a good result picking up a few points over Biaggi. Interesting watching Camier sit behind Biaggi when he was clearly faster. Shows the man has real devotion for the team who's paying his salary. All those points may matter in the end.

Race 2. A repeat of race 1 with Rea leading the way and Crutchlow shadowing. Just like the first go around, Cal waited and then pulled the pin. Great double victory on home turf. Camier got his wish in race 2 and as he said in the post race interview, he was allowed to pass his teammate. He also got past Haslam, which made his move look even better for his teammate. Biaggi never clicked with Silverstone, but played it smart and only lost 8 points to Haslam over the weekend.

Next race, Nurburgring, freaking 5 weeks from now.

Thats what he did 2nd race.Bollocks to team orders!

Camier is an employee of Aprilia. They are within reach of a championship, have a great points lead, and don't want to take any risks with even a few points. Camier may not like it but if asked to finish behind Biaggi so as to not take points from him he is going to do so. This is one of the few times where "team" comes into play in racing. Granted Biaggi has such a large lead it doesn't matter as much. Which is why Aprilia let Camier do as he pleased in the 2nd race, especially since he finished in front of Haslam. Camier more or less came out and said this in the post race interview. I think it bodes well for his future with any outfit, as it shows he is loyal and is willing to "take one for the team". Situations like this make the racing look contrived, but with all the money involved in this sport, and a championship for Aprilia is worth a bucket load. I'm not saying I like it, but I can understand why it happens.

I think Aprilia would be ok with Camier finishing in front of Biaggi as long as he can also finish ahead of Haslam....if he can't then he will probably need to finish behind Biaggi.
