1st Max

then

any brit for a podium

If the action we saw at the recent visit by MotoGP to Silverstone is any indication, then the WSBK weekend should be stellar. Absolutely no way to make any prediction right now as it's a new track, but certainly there will be a heavy British element towards the front. Haslam returns to form? Rea has one of his untouchable weekends? Toseland steps it up? We can certainly count on Biaggi being up there with the Aprilia, but will Camier be there as well? Let's pray for some of that famous British sunshine.

If Rea keeps it rubber side down I think he's hard to beat. Would love to see Suzuki provide Haslm with what he needs to win, and even if they don't I suspect he will still do well...finger crossed for him.

Biaggi....will ride a safe race and possibly podium and be happy with that.

.edit....I forgot about Toseland, maybe the Rossi advice on bike setup will give the Yamaha guys some new things to try?

something going on ppl dont know about ?

Shocked to see Biaggi in 18th. If he is unable to make substantial progress during later sessions, Haslam is going to claw back a quite a few points.

I knew Rea would be fast, but I'm surprised to see that Toseland is the only one close to Rea's times.

I think we've seen Biaggi around 12th to 15th in a few FP1's this year, so not a big surprise.

It's because Rossi showed them the proper way to set it up....... Right...

How many bikes are Kawasaki planning to run in 2011? Unless they are planning to send Hayden back to compete in the AMA, and Sykes back to win in BSB, Kawasaki won't have enough equipment to keep all of their riders.

If the offer is true, I certainly hope Haga doesn't take it. Anyone that rides for Kawasaki next year is going to have at least 1 year of "development" for the new bike (more back marker and crash time), then another year to iron it out. Kawasaki is the career killer. Granted Haga has done a fair job of killing his own career this year, but it would be the nail in the coffin. I'm guessing he's got maybe 2 years left in him, so I'd hate to see him go out on a bad note. Ideally for him it would be back to a Yamaha, if they'll have them and if they will even be around next year.

Sykes has done as good a job as possible with what he has to work with this year, it would be wrong to let him go. Then again maybe he already has other plans.

RLH needs to get that Moto2 ride going full time for next year.

Camier is due a good weekend.

I hope Cal manages to get his debut win, and not just another pole.

Hayden not doing too badly either. I hope he sticks around in WSBK. If he gets better equipment for 2011, with the way he is riding, he could easily be a top 10 contender.

Hayden said he picked up some good tips from Schwantz and Randy's crew chief at Laguna and he thought he could use them in superbike too. He must have learned something to be beating his teammate by almost 3 seconds. I hope he keeps this up

maybe they have, heck you see how much faster he is than his team mate?

Either this or what BKmoto said.

Yanagawa - 278kph; Sykes - 277kph; Hayden - 275kph; Biaocco 272kph

Hard to say whether Hayden is riding the real deal or whether he's just found some pace/confidence. He is suddenly much faster than Biaocco, but he did say that LCR taught him how to do better practice setup work by going for longer runs before making adjustments.

I think Hayden has got some rhythm and confidence. Beating DeAngelis at Laguna meant a lot to him, imo, and the LCR Honda gave him a reference point for how a properly setup bike feels.
