Ducati/Checa. In my cynical opinion, im not sure Ducati can or will be allowed to be beat. With them struggling. In GP, its all out in Wsbk. Those 6kg did nothing to 'equalize' the parity. Wsbk has been first and foremost a Ducati cup, and now with Aprillia, its a defacto "Italian" brand cup.

For me, the most interesting battles will be between teammates. As the top brands (except Ducati) have some great pairings.

Biaggi vs Laverty

Haslam vs Melandri

Sykes vs Lascorz

Hopkins vs Camier

laverty beats biaggi , hopkins beats camier, melandri beats haslam and kawasaki don't play a role in this

i was hoping bayliss would make a 1 year return, there have been multiple hints in interviews that he considers it. bayliss and hayden on a 1199 in 2013 could be the best wsbk team ever

Well, those are great match ups.

I have the winners of the teammate wars as: Haslam, Hopkins (if the Lord lets him live), Biaggi (close because Laverty is way more hungry but Biaggi has the experience), and Sykes.

Yep, I got the same.

Really looking forward to World Supers this year. Stacked grid, more guys with chances of podiums, the chance to oogggllleeee Marco Melandri's missus again, good British contingent, two rounds in the UK. Just gonna miss the sound of that R1

bummer

i think this is bmws best chance at getting a title so far and for the next years to come (1199) and now already haslams injured.hope he gets well soon.

laverty should let his body heal if he does not want to become the next hopper, a shame really i was expecting him to fight for the title

Errrrrr damnit!

Hopkins, Laverty, Haslam. Now who do i root for in the season opener?

Im tired of seeing an all Spalian podium. Im gonna root for Sykes.

who to root for in wsbk without bayliss and haga?

Totally forgot about Rea vs Aoyama. I think Rea will win the battle of teammates on this one but personally, i'll be rooting for Aoyama.

i too hope that aoyama does well, he's had bad luck since becoming the last 250cc champion which to me means a lot, especially considering he did not do it on an aprilia and against he likes of simoncelli etc.

problem is though, i would love to see rea in motogp one day, he cannot afford to lose to a teammate.

Like to see Sykes get a few decent results this season ! Rea to beat Aoyama in the team mate showdowns !

Yeah I'm sort of rooting for sykes and hopper. But wouldn't under estimate Aoyama in that particular team battle.

If Rea has any ambitions of ever riding GP, he has to beat Aoyama. Two years ago many thought Rea was on a fast track to GP and then he kind of stalled in his development. He really needs to contend for the title this year to get back on track.
