Hopefully, everyone had a chance to see the races at Phillip Island this weekend. Best racing in some time, as Haslam and Rea went head-to-head for 44 laps. Van der Mark is already competitive in his first showing, and Honda are more competitive this season. BMW have thrown in the towel. No factory development from them apparently.
Anyway, the new rules are working well. No noticeable loss of lap time or performance. Instead, the bikes seem less sensitive to setup, which means the riders are more involved than before. Rea and Haslam move to the front, as a result, which doesn't surprise me. Davies not far behind. Brits in the top 4 championship positions.
