the second race was brilliant, shame Haga retired when at the front but a great last few laps with JT and Bayliss.

The second race was nailbiting I nearly couldn't watch. but well deserved win, and excellent racing. For World Stupid Bikes that is lol.

I thought that going across the finish line it looked like JT was trying to do a wheelie coz his front wheel came off the ground for a second time which is a bit unusual. It was just as Bayliss got alongside him that the front wheel went down so it did look a bit like he realised too late that the wheelie had let Bayliss through

Im not sure though coz his bike was a bit wriggly all through the race.

I didn't see the post race interviews what did he say about it?

Holly .... what a wicked second race! - proper edge of the seat racing, love it!!

I really thought Troy was going to get the win, JT seemed to be doing a few dummy runs before the last chicane, but troy always seemed to get him back............till the last lap!!! That was awesome lines from JT and he had a massive gap in the chicane, till Mr Bayliss got a better drive out...........bummer!

Still, superb race.....better than the first one!

That was two Amazing races!! I was soooo gutted when JT lost race 2, but boy did both guys fight hard for it. Great stuff to watch all round, a shame for Haga in race two to end his really consistent run.

it was amazing, great weather (but windy tho) and all the races were fantastic. we sat at the De Bult-tribune, where the most local people from Drenthe always sit. had a superb time, saw 1 of my cousins again and some friends of my dad
<
JT was just briliant, I had very high hopes for him to win both races. how thrilling was it when JT overtook Bayliss over and over again just in before the Geert Timmer corner!!
<

on the way to assen this morning (we left at 7.45am) we saw a nasty crash again, a biker just didn't saw 2 cars and he had a nasty highside on the road. luckely the dude was ok, he stood up again as soon as he had hit the road
<
you will not ever guess how much sunburn I have at the moment, I look like one of you english people who forgot to take off his t-shirt when he goes in the sun!

also congrats to roy ten apel too, he had pole in the superstock 600, but got of the road in the first lap, but he fought back from place 19 till place 6

will post pics/vids soon, not in the mood to get busy on the comp yet

They were 2 great races tho. Race 2 was the best race of the season prob could have been even better had Haga been there!

Good races!

Congrats to JT, seems like he's got this championship in his pocket.

I'm a bit sad for Xaus though.

Could have won a race today.
Anyway keep up the good work (beating the crap out of Ducati Corse team)

(I was distracted at that moment)???
from what I could see (I sat all the way on the otherside of the track) he first ran wide, and he missed the extra road they made for riders who had gone wide, and then he ended up in the sand and drove the motor to the side

That was just the front wheel coming up due to putting the power down in the dash to the finish, he knew the Duc was there so had to give it all he could.

He said he braked too deep into the corner before and nearly lost the front then couldn't get the power down soon enough so Bayliss had a much better drive and just beat him in the sprint to the finish.

Great racing but I was disappointed for Toseland after that move working third time lucky. It was good to see him fight to the end though and not just settle for second.

only saw the last half of race one... mainly just the podium presentation.
but i have to buy a PVR(?) don't i Pirky?

Anyone watch the supersport race? FARRKIN HELL!
brilliant stuff! .... looks like my boy pitty just got himself a job.... 4th in the championship after 2 races.
fell asleep for race 2 ...

anyone care to send me a copy?

Yee-haw!

I sense my boy Toseland will land the title very early if he keeps this form up.

Gutted he didn't get the double, but NO-ONE gained points on him in this round. (Bayliss' 5 points for 1st negated by fact he had a terrible race 1)

It's better than Moto G(ay)P(ricks) at the moment.

If he takes home 45 points every weekend he can't actually lose, but that double was soooo close! Bayliss is going to need some miss fortune for JT if he wants that title back.

I missed the SS race, was it good?

Pitty is doing a good job so far, but i don't think he will beat Sofuoglu to the title.

Thats debatable because although at times the racing is more competitive and the passing better to watch, compared to GP racing superbikes is a bit of a game and doesn't mean as much. That of course isn't the case for the people who follow a particular rider, but overall i find grand prix much more exciting.

No contest really, World Stupid bikes, or Moto GP???? But I do kind of hope Toseland gets a GP ride just to see if he can cut the mustard, he does seem to be racing with more maturity/consistency these days and it would be great to have a decent British rider on the GP grid line up.

Not that I think World Super Bikes are rubbish, just they have their place but the racing is nothing like as good as MotoGP. But it won't stop me watching them..........mainly to see Biaggi get beat lol, that's always funny.

SS race was excellent. Close racing at the front within a pack of about 6 or 7. Foret doing some insaaaaaane passes through the chicane around the outside just a hair off the clutch lever.
Charpontier had a massive lead then the pain must've just eaten away at him coz he dropped back through the field hard and fast. poor man. broken pelvis was it?
I agree Pitty is very unlikely to take the title at this point ... Sofulgu is on like 120 and Pittys got a third of that on 40. So unless something drastic happens Sofuglu's the man. Still im happy to see Pitty racing again.

Yeah its good for him no doubt, and i think he is at home too because he is a SS level rider and out of his depth in gp's. Hopefully he can get on a superbike next season. I think Charpentier tore up his groin ligaments this time, but i'm not sure. The broken pelvis was last year.
