Amazing last corner, let alone last lap!
I feel justified in saying that we might not know who would win the championship until the last corner.
8th is a good result for Carrasco. I don't think she's quite there in terms of handling the extra aggression at the end of a race. But she was fighting with riders such as Masbou in this race, and that's never easy.

I think that Maverick has been proved correct. His manager kept offers from him that would have led him to riding a KTM. This year when he got onto a KTM, he wins the championship. If he'd buckled down, would he have?

No fan of Maverick but Congrats for getting it done on the day. Salom and Rins both rode some great races and that was a fitting race for what has been an entertaining season all the way.
Wonder if Rins is going to get to step up to Moto2 next year? It was still a bit uncertain unless he won the championship.

Assuming that Rins stays with his Estrella Galicia team, then his championship hopes may well depend on his team's using Hondas next year. If they build a KTM killer, then he could easily be a shoe-in for the championship. Depending on how much Marquez steps up next year. If they do change to Honda, but the KTM killer is a damp squib, he could be in trouble.

Im not sure of the lineup next year. I am confident of miller to pick up podiums and hopefully some wins. Little Marquez finished 4th this year on debut, I think? He's surely going to continue form, I expect wins from him. Vinalez and Rins to moto2 next year. I think salom is staying. I wouldn't be willing to back Miller for outright, but if you choose a rider, I'll consider a wager on head to head basis.
