What happened to Nicky Hayden? Will he win again?

As a teammate to Rossi, Pedrosa, and Stoner, he has shown that he isn't in the same class. When they would win, he would barely land on the podium. I think he is a nice guy, a good wing man, but it's time his MotoGP seat went to someone hungrier. I would love to see him move to WSBK.

as a team mate to Rossi he was a rookie. as a team mate to Pedrosa he became world champion before getting mobbed out by Puig. at Ducati he did what every Ducati rider besides Stoner did - fade on a .... bike. Now he got fooled into riding a 'production racer' which is a lame duck.

I certainly don't think its a lack of hunger by any means. As a standard he puts it more laps than anyone on the grid in order to improve his chances or develop the bike at testing. While I will certainly agree he's in the twilight of his career, especially in the GP's, he typically tops the open bikes, and other than Stoner, he was riding around the same place/pace as his teammate, and I wouldn't consider Dovi or Rossi a slouch. I think if Nicky had one of the LCR bikes or Alvaro's bike we could see him in the top 8 without question. He's no where near the level of Marc, Jorge, or Dani (when he's on), but still not the back marker some portray him to be.

This is nonsense. Most of the guys racing will either never win again or never win period. No Nicky will never win again. This series if full of guys who will never win a race.

3 wins in 185 starts and 10 full seasons on factory bikes is a pretty poor record so, no, he's not going to be winning again. I doubt he'd have the chops to run anywhere near the front in WSBK either.

On his current bike? No
On a factory bike? Possibly on a lucky day
Will be be given a factory bike? No

So in summary: No.

Surely he will win something in his future life ...... a meat tray, the chook raffle down the local club, a school raffle ....... bit of a strange thread really:confused:

Hey!!! smilies are back!!! :3a:

Errrrr.... No.

Would have liked to have seen him go to WSBK. It's not good watching an ex-world champ struggling in every race - must be doubly bad for Jumkie

No....Nicky wont win another GP race again.....unless he 'wins' the open category in a race....which I am sure some will count as a 'win' and testament to his greatness.....

Will he win in WSBK? No...cause he'll never go.....he'd rather be the token american for another 3 years picking a fat gp check partly sponsored by american honda then actually try to actually compete for a title....

This has got to be some kind of troll thread made by one of Jumkie's old forum victims, Nicky Hayden isn't winning ...., but I do hope he is here next year because it look like Honda is going to improve the bike.

I believe Nicky has a 2 year contract with Aspar and American Honda to ride the proddy Honda, and the improved with pneumatic valves coming year......
