Its Motogp anything can happen, so I'm not going to rule him out of a podium, but as some have said its unlikely with what he has to work with. It would be great if he did though

I doubt he'll get a podium with this year equipment. He'll propbly get another top 5, but for podium (and possible win) he'll have to wait for next year I think.
I notice there are a lot of doubters, which I am surprised to see. Dovi is currently 5th in points this year, he has had three 4th place finishes, and four 5th place finishes so he is definitely right under the podium. With exception of an 11th place finish and 1 retire, he has been in the top 10 every race. I don't think the bike is holding him back as many think, Vermi and Cappers both brought the "crappy Suzuki", as many say, to a podium. I guess however at this point, its all up to Dovi; and how bad he wants to taste champagne and hose down trophy girls.
Will Dovizioso get a podium this year? Maybe.

I tend to agree with you, but at this point it is just speculation. Makes you wonder what bike Nakano was on as well. In regards to Dovi, the guy rode well, held his position most of the race, fought back when Hayden passed, and played good defense on the last lap. A well deserved podium.
