Will Casey Stoner test in Phillip island and Qatar 2017?

Casey tested the Ducati gp17 in sepang on two days and posted the fastest time on first day. Will he test in the Phillip island in the remaining two days since he did not test on day one. Surely he will be a whole second faster than anyone in the grid now. And why there is no transparency in information as to why Casey will not test on some days.

Perhaps because he is by his own choice a test rider now, rather than the main show/a current competitor.

No reason to think he won't test at PI. I agree with Mike-M. He's there to test. I don't obsess with what he doesn't do. I'm just happy to see him ride whenever he does.

He will not test at Phillip Island ever.

He will be testing at Qatar next month.

I actually think there is something to what was propounded about Stoner testing not helping Lorenzo, although that is is no knock on Casey imo. It may help the other riders with a less"'corner speed" riding style.

As for testing at PI, I agree he never will. Two explanations spring to mind, the first being that Stoner whatever else retired as the king of PI, being able to win there even on a GP10, and with a broken foot in his last season. He may conceivably not want to mess with that legacy himself, but the other explanation for a fanboy like me is that for exactly the same reasons, ie that he could win at PI even on a GP10 or with a broken foot, his testing times at PI, the circuit which suited his riding style so well, might be completely embarrassing for the current Ducati riders.

Yesterday was also his daughter's birthday and his family comes first approach (totally admirable) meant that he was never going to test at the Island
