Hey guys, so i'm getting a bit bored with motogp and all the bs between the riders. It got me thinking about moto2. With 3 rounds down, Bradl has a nice little lead, but we all know Iannone is very fast. Who do u guys/girls think will take the championship?

Right now, I wanna say Iannone bc hes so fast but Bradl is riding so consistent, so I'd have to give it to him.

Predictions welcome

Easy to name bradl here, but I do, cause first I hope (as a german) and second is I think hell do it because of what U mentioned: hes very contant!

As Im german I understand what he says in the interviews and how he says it and believe me: theres a big difference to 2010: he really sounds cooler and more confident. in 2010 you always heard this kinda pressure in his voice. now he really looks relaxed and just does it without thinking too much...

I think iannone is a little quicker, but as we saw quicker means more likely to crash.

As consitency might be the key I think bradl...but dont forget luthi...hes damn strong this season too...

by the way: the coolest mofo of the german riders is jonas folger...if U here how he talks in german its like the slang of the USA / Texas guys...really hillbillylike but I love it (both!)...hes family only lives app. 90 miles away from my place. so Im a german hillbilly too!

come on, folger is much "worse" than bradl when it comes to dialect and accent
<
are you from bavaria too?

i really hope bradl pulls it off, he is such a great rider and nice guy, he really deserves it and germany needs a hero on 2 wheels..

i think his main competition will be from iannone and marquez,if both don't fall off any more it will get really hard for him

hehe I am from bavaria...and thats what I meant: folgers accent IS worse...and thats cool!

I also think Iannone is the FASTEST rider this year but not that smart as he attacks when he still'd have time to study his opponent by just following...hes to unconsistant!

hope bradl does it yeah! no german hero since 80s Toni Mang!

where are U from!?

Bradl looks very strong so far, so I guess he has to be the favourite at the moment. If Iannone can start qualifying higher, and stop crashing, he certainly has the speed. But 2nd to 6th (Simon, Luthi, Takahashi, Iannone and Corsi) are separated by only 3 points! Not wanting to wish anything ill towards Bradl, but if he did have a DNF for some reason at the next round, and the others all finished in the top 5...

Not Sure Marquez is out of it just yet

It depends on whether he can stay on the bike. But he was very impressive at le mans.

Im still trying to work out whats wrong with scott, finished last season so well, good in winter testings & gone nowhere since the start of the season.

Impressed with brad smith though.

TBH you cant write off bradl iannone simon takahashi luthi or marquez just yet but i reckon bradl has the edge

Personally, I wouldn't rule out Marquez for the title. He's a class act, now that he has calmed down, he will win more races this year.

I honestly thought Scott Redding would be in the hunt, but instead, he and the Marc VDS team are doing quite the opposite. Bradley Smith has started well, better than I thought he would. Its unlikley he will win the Moto2 World Championship this year, but next year, he's going to be a threat for sure.

I agree, i think redding has been prob my biggest disappointment this season, as he showed promise at the end of last season. I really enjoy Marquez when he rides well, if he can stay on the bike and finish where he should (podiums), bradl will be under pressure, considering you have to at least believe that he will at some point make a mistake or two.

I hope Bradl takes it down b/c it will be good for the championship to get more interest from the Teutonic contingent.

Marquez is probably not out of it, but I am starting to sour on him. I'm convinced that Repsol through a big bag of money at Suter to get Marquez his own spec (perhaps they changed all bikes to Repsol spec), and I'm really sick of Dorna's love affair with his dad. They show his dad nearly as much as they show Marquez himself.

Marquez put a good run together from around this time last year, maybe he can do it again. Personally l'd like to see Ianonne or Luthii win it. Not good seeing Scottie struggling though.

iannone is a great rider but i think fastest rider would go to marquez...

bradl will take it, he always gets good points in each round and that will get him the tile

i can't believe some people are sympathetic towards the thought of a german champion

I think Marquez's title hopes hinge on the next couple of races, if he can stay on the podium he'll be a danger before long, if he's inconsistent (not unreasonable for a rookie) then Bradl will be more comfortable. There are a few guys looking threatening but i don't think the likes of Simon and Luthi have the last % in the bag yet performance-wise, and they need it. Ianonne can win any race he starts so i wouldn't count him out until the mathematics confirm it.

now that simon is out i can only see marquez challanging bradl, after the last few races i'm not so sure about iannone anymore...

Well after this last race its down to 5 points.........Marc Marquea is riding unbelieveably great I think he got this championship in the bag if there are no mechanicle problems. Bradle is great but had a big misfortune this last race and now he will have to pull a big rabbit out of a hat for this one.

What the hell? Why do you wait a whole year to post? haha, What up?

Yeah, its Marquez title to lose now. Bradl tanked big time.

I so agree but look at his stats....this kids has won more races then Rossi at this same age. This kids is the Stoner of Moto2 and except for the lil mishaps in the beginning this kid is finishing races.

It'd be tough to bet against Marquez now, but at least it's a little closer at the top than in motogp... should be a great end to the season.
