Rossi won't risk going to another of Stoners championship winning bikes and failing. If Stoner wins this WC which I think he will do with a record number of race wins then Rossi's legacy would be smashed in to little pieces, doused in petrol and burned if he then failed to do the same. Much safer for Rossi to stay on the Ducati because it would only take just 1 race win for him to restore some credibility.

Lorenzo won't go to Honda because he knows the Honda is not a corner speed bike. He also knows that Marquez is coming and will not put himself in a place where he risks becoming #2.

I think it will be Bradl. He is a quality rider and it will be easier for Honda to play favourites against Bradl when Marquez is on the other bike in 14 then it will with Pedrosa. It will also improve Marquez's credibility if he beats Bradl. Pedrosa will still be looking for a new ride in 14 in my opinion.

I think Honda will be ok with conceding the WC in 13 to Yamaha on the back of 2 WC with Stoner in the hope they regain it with Marquez in 14.

In 2015 I wouldn't be surprised to see MotoGP disappear altogether with WSBK becoming the premier petrol powered racing series with a very prominent zero emissions series beginning to share the limelight.

Cal to get pinched by honda

Marquez to get Danis seat after a year on Bradls ride

Bradl to Cals seat

Dani to be moved on after yrs of trying he wont win the big prize thats all ready been proven (Pies seat)

people that talk Rossi this and that are crazy as a Rossi Fan anyone can see hes done hes a old guy and cant do what he used to just like everyone else its happened to (aged)

the move to duc has done it mentally for him. a bit like Crafar he whooped Doohans ... in his day as soon as he changed rubber it did form him mentally he never recovered

Rossi is on the way out not up he wont get a full factory ride IF Hes does thats another step backwards for motogp

WSBK for him a new focus a new start

the way motogp is going its a Dinosaur things dont change over night and the powers that be look like startled rabbits in head lights

let it get shoved onto paytv (i wont watch) Main stream TV Companys want something that gives them good viewing figures bums on living room seats for there investment MOTOGP Isn't doing it

motogp 2013 CRP MSMA (2 members when Duc have fooked off)

Toby Moody has the best idea these days theres other stuff out there keeping the pecker stiff

BTCC.BSB,WSBK.CIV.CEV.MX1-2.GRAND-AM.WTCC.LE-MANS.V8's.

Even Toni Bou's skills are worth a motogp turnoff if you get the chance to see him does his ....

one time nothing could get more excited than a motogp weekend coming up . NOT ANYMORE IT DOES

Yamaha:

J-Lo

Cal or maybe Ben, if he can pull his finger out - PRONTO.

Can't see Jorge wanting to leave. He's got all he needs at Yam and would be jumping into muddy political waters at HRC/Repsol.

HRC:

Dani

Bradl or (wishful thinking, perhaps) RdP.

40% chance Marquez will be allowed to race.

Ducati:

Nicky

Ben or Dovi

The Yellow Clown will either bail from the sport altogether or find/make his own Japanese satellite team, with plenty of helpful arm-twisting from his buddy Carmelo.

I voted Rossi because he is the master at manipulating the sport for his own gain and DORNA are also adept at making things happen for the golden goose....

These two calling people haters.... Ah, hahahahaha.

Actually I reckon people such as yourself are the weak of mind.....it is one of the easiest things in the world to sit behind a keyboard and criticise those who actually excel at what they do and I cant actually recall a single post of yours which wasnt negative, vindictive or insulting....It must really suck to be you.

Friz, I think anything anybody has said in the recent past is all null and void. Its a new world now. All bets are off.

Absolutely. But I was just highlighting how Jarvis rates Lorenzo above anybody else that he races against in 2013. I can't see him letting him go to Honda.

Marquez is the new Casey Stoner. And before you sook at the world Rog. ....... I'm telling you, not asking you!!!.

J-Lo to Repsol Honda with Pedro (Spanish Dream Team) Rossi back with Yam.... Bet.

Him or Marky Mark.

If Lorenzo exits Yamaha - they will have a talent deficit and reconsider having Rossi back (at half his old salary).

Disagree. After the Ducati debacle he'll be happy to be on either the Honda or the Yamaha. Doubtless he wants a shot at one last championship and would risk it. The possible rewards as regards his legacy outweigh any perceived risks.

Yes comments similar to this one had far more credibility when you were making them around 18 months ago....so please by all means explain your reasons for flip flopping on this issue....

If I'm Nicky, I'm tracking down Stoner's crew and offering them a job.

Which begs the question...where does Stoner's crew wind up?

Honda Pedrosa;Bradl

Yamaha Lorenzo;Crutchlow

Ducati Rossi; Hayden

I can't decide between Bradl and Bautista.

I think it really depends on how each perform and so far Bautista has the upper hand.

If he can replicate what Simmo did towards the end of the season (barring sepang) then he has to be a candidate for the seat.

Does anyone know how long a contract both or these riders signed last year, as this could prove to be a factor also.

Would Ducati stay in GP if Rossi was to leave? How solid is their commitment. If he leaves then their best rider (or should I say test rider) will be Nicky. I doubt any of the top teir riders would ride for them.

They put all their eggs in one basket with Rossi. What are they going to do with all the engineers and crew they pulled over from WSBK. I don't think they would keep them around for Nicky.

They could easily go back into WSBK and be a contender so what would keep them in GP as a losing proposition

I ticked the Bautista button

I can't see Vale leaving Ducati, as it would signal the end of Ducati in gp. How fast do you think Philip Morris would pull the plug on Ducati if VR left. It's one thing to not have a competitive bike (even though you're fielding 4), it's another when you do it with complete anonymity,, without a marquee name. I never saw any (positive) ripple effect from the Audi deal. In reality, if Ducati pulled out of gp, do you really think that they would sell less bikes? Their regional and International Superbike participation keeps that segment alive.

Lorenzo? He'll play the D-bag card and hold out until the eleventh hour, then sign for Yamaha for a Honda inspired bonus. Besides, Mr. Alpha Male knows that Marquez is already being fitted for the King of Repsol Spain crown. Why fight 2 battles.

Forget 2013

2014

HRC

Marquez

Pedrosa - He probably lucked ou the most from this "retirement" circus

Factory Yamaha

Lorenzo

Points winner of the Dovi/Crutchlow fight

Factory Ducati

Vale

Spies - I'd like to see that as the reason for the pick.

Tech3

Bautista

Loser of the Dovi/Crutchlow fight

Nicky - WSBK ! His choice, as he misses winning.

There, just as 'effed up as any crystal ball speculation.
