I was more interested that Arrab included Gabor.
Why??
He is a tosser. Even Rossi and Biaggi aren't as full of themselves as that bloke...

There is a rationale behind them all - however ridiculous.

Gabor, because of an incident at Qatar around '05 I think, when he was supposed to ride shotgun for his KTM teammate the hapless Kalio. One of the most amusing incidents I have seen in near four decades of watching this sport bar Julian Simon thinking he'd won the race on the penultimate lap at Catalunya '09.

I have to go with Jorge. My sport bike is a Yammer, so I figured I needed to root for a Yammer rider and it seemed everyone was a Rossi fan, so I went with 99.

Arrab, you listed a lot of guys, not a fan of King Kenny though...?

Most of it stems from random garbage and observations off the top of my head. Sabbatani is in there purely because makes Pedrosa look like Gheorge Muresan. Bussei used to sleep in the back of his car at race meetings - so did Grazianno come to think of it, when he came to watch Vale. Where the hell has he gone these days? I could write a page on Seb Porto's on track antics and Cees Doorakkers simply has a silly name when written in full. That said, Captain George Worthington Rockett was a genuine missile.

Actually forgot Pogiali, purely because he went from riding for factory Aprilia and delivering a 250cc world title, to riding a moped delivering Pizza's - practically overnight.

Kenny came over and ...... our guy so I disliked him as a kid...but that's kids for you. What is there to possibly dislike about the guy? Would've loved Sheene to have bagged an equally fully fledged factory Yam when he left Suzuki for the 1980 season.

Serious answers?

As I said, definitely Saarinen, Norick, and Rainey - but the most naturally talented riders I've ever seen were Spencer, Stoner and possibly Lawson. Interestingly all three ignominiously quit as some like to say. I prefer 'walked away', although Freddie's talent had arguably burnt out.

I'd also add to my list of personal favourites, Bill Ivy, Garry Nixon, McCoy, Mike, Joey and as Wills says, Kato.

EDIT: Add to that, Kel Carruthers - immediately competitive on UK short circuits and without whom there would've been no King Kenny on the world stage.

Nicky Hayden. Because watching him as a kid in the AMA I was impressed with his competitive spirit and work ethic.

You were that young when Nicky was racing AMA?

Well I haven't grown up. Not that I refuse to, its just I'm an immature ........ On a related note, it seems to me the umbrella girls keep getting younger and younger; frankly I felt like a dirty old man taking pics with some of them.

I call this one Yamalube

Marc Marquez is my favourite, I didn't get into MotoGP until 2013 and he made me fan. As an Aussie im spewing I wasn't watching during Stoners career though.
I did like Rossi for a bit but his fans have turned me off him.

You should have saw Little Spunko at the track, she had the official VR/46 gear on from head to toe, and her hat positioned backwards--an attempt to stand out from the crowd I suppose. It was actually cute. I hand her a brand new Nicky hat (like Pov said, her not realizing most of the profit probably going to her custard ....... hero) and she refused to wear it; prompting her sweet and wise friend Heidi to look at her and say "you ....., give it to me, I'll wear it!" I .... you not.

i have no words. i give up.

So 'little saddo' cops a feel of Vale's butt and it's immediately enshrined on PS. Tell you what Jum Jum, next time you blag our way into a paddock what say one of us tries the same with Maria Herrera and see how long it takes before it's immortalised on an offenders register.

Moreover, that's an invasion of Uccio's territory - Vale should effect immediate legal action for blatant stalking and harassment.

I would have totally told those girls that we should head to more comfortable confines to see how well the Yamalube works.

One more...

Was it his sudden ascendancy through the European 125cc championship, his momentum in the 125 GP class which within three years saw Tom Luthi crowned as 2005 World Champion and Swiss sports personality of the year? (An impressive feat of recognition in the land of skiing, bobsleigh, mountaineering and Federer).

Was it ..... This is when you know you've really arrived...

After all, why settle for 'caretaker' grinding someone else's coffee beans when you can be a barista?
