Rossi - cos he's Rossi.

Lorenzo - He's always had the speed, but what's impressed me is how he's matured since moving to MotoGP.

Hayden - Not the most talented guy I've ever seen, but he works as hard as anyone else out there (if not harder), plus he never seems to have a bad word to say about anyone.

This is easy, 'cause the question isn't, "Who are the guys you think are the best riders" but rather, "Who are your 3 favorite riders?"

Hayden

Spies

Capirossi

Same reason for all of them. If I was going for a night out on the town or just hanging around

these are the guys I would feel at ease with. It's all about character. Right?

Current, as in currently riding?

Edwards, the ultimate underdog, is quite capable of winning but what the problem is only Colin knows.

Lorenzo, talented with heart & passion, his desire to get going again after those 2008 crashes was impressive.

Hayden, outstanding tenacity, a model of consistency & a model of will power over raw talent.

Stoner - I like his style, his ability to ride and race and I really respect what he and his family gave up to get to where he is.

Aoyama - I like his style which is I think similar to Stoners but in a Japanese way as opposed to Australian. I think he is a great rider but am unsure whether he will ever get the chance to be great on a MotoGP bike because he is Japanese and not from the 2 primary nationalities.

Dovi - Once again I think he is a similar style of person to Stoner but just in an Italian way as opposed to an Australian way. I also think he is a great rider and will probably have a more successful career than Lorenzo and Pedrosa.

As can be understood from the above I like riders who are just there to race. I despise the showman crap that goes on and I can not support those that use the politics and their Nationality to give them an advantage on the track.

Holy stoner fanboy love TP! First of all Aoyama rides nothing like Stoner. Oh but you said in a japanese way instead of australian. WTF does that even mean? Something about eating dog instead of kangaroo? I swear if Hiro heard you say that he would judo chop you so hard, that pebble you call a brain would fly straight out your .... That is a smörgåsbord of ........, quit hanging out with barry.

I have always felt you were intellectually impaired but this confirms it for me. Style has nothing to do with riding in the context of my comments. The style I refer to is their personality which as little as I know any of them personally I feel that some riders and the 3 I mentioned are quiet reserved type people that are not there for the publicity, politics or ...... style of showmanship that others are. I admire this.

Now just to comment on your funking ridiculous comeback. Why would Hiro be offended if someone said he rode like Stoner, a 20 MotoGP race winner with a MotoGP WC?

Just because you are a raving lunatic who still thinks his childish sense of humour gets a laugh on here, feels that Stoner is not worthy of being called a great rider, it does not give you the credibility to pass comment on my opinion with out ever laying your own out there for judgement. Now until you have an opinion on MotoGP that has been considered, is constructive and actually is on topic with a thread why don't you just .... off and keep your school yard ........ to yourself. Or maybe we can post a thread for you to dribble in and call it "Mindless ........ thread"

1. Stoner - because he is so fast and ruffles so many preening bopper feathers

2. Rossi - no explanation needed see last 10 years for reasoning.

3. R. dePuniet - was not a fan initially but the guy has a very dry humourless way of putting things that he becomes very funny. tries just as hard as Hayden with less support and has the coolest garage in motogp (except in Qatar).

Your right Tp I haven't given mine.

1. Hayden,Spies, Edwards- Not just because they are americans, but they have great personalities each being very different from each other. I have been watching spies since his ama days so he is the first rider I have had the luxury of watching become who he is. Hayden is a great person from a great family, and it shows. Edwards is just out there having fun, I gotta love that. So I root for them over anyone.

2. Rossi- I started watching motogp while he was coming into his prime. He is an amazing rider, a living legend, and is a fun loving person. People could learn a lot from him.

3.Aoyama- I have always like japanese riders. And watching him at indy last year I (we) were amazed by his style and ability to beat people all year while on an inferior bike(just watch malaysia from last year). And his lean angle is incredible! Kinda reminds me of Rossi, but in a japanese way instead of an italian way.

I think Hiro will have a real chance at success in motogp
