Keshav, usually facts are more important than opinions : zarco 3 rides on honda = 2 DNF, 1 outside top ten

Nothing thrilling and nothing than can proves your rethoric about him bringing more points

Also, between a early 30's guy, with a reputation of a bad attitude and lack of professionalism (KTM were not happy with his comments about the bike ? Just imagine the japanese), who represents a poor market (france) and who has done nothing apart 1 decent year on yam with the Jorge made 2016 bike (did you forget his second year on the 2017 bike ? He was nowhere)

And the newly crowned moto2 champion, spanish and the buzz that will result by having 2 marquez in same squad ?

A ....... no brainer maaaaaate

Lol and your comments about zarco being good at set up bikes and giving directions to a factory... where did that come from ? The only time he had that responsability it was with KTM and we saw where it lead

Get real

Go on crash.net, two interesting articles :

one about Aleix comments which gives a hint on how Zarco is perceived amongst the riders and more importantly where the journalist confirm that the MAIN reason for Zarco not to be retained by the HRC is the attitude he had toward KTM, also remember that Leitner was at HRC for years before joining KTM and that he knows Puig very well

Second is the article from/about Zarco where he has the nerves to criticize Jorge on the last day of his career, hiding behind the vertue of being a gentleman for resigning earlier this year (lol not the same perception at all than KTM has) the reality is that he is just like a spoil brat because he feels that if Jorge had announced his retirement earlier this year he believes he would have had more chance to sign at HRC because Alex was not world champion yet

Typicall sociopathic behavior of "its never my fault"

It was dead in the egg already given his attitude with KTM

Lets face it, he is just a semi talented sociopathic ....

Even though i hate the marquez, it was the right move for the sport

The given sport is just a mere shadow of what it was

First : full electronic and anti drifting, heavily critized by Stoner at the time and who costed Simoncelli's life (if his bike had drifted he wouldnt have been ran over)

Also when i get on my bike nothing relates to this technology that i could have the illusion to think my bike directly benefiting from this ........

Second : its a dwarf game now, 170/55kg max otherwise you out

Not so long ago Hayden, Barros, Gibernau etc were not made of that wood and i am not sure us bikers fit into that jockey model

.... it

Life's too short for this. Maybe someone else has time to waste.

Big mistake - I think.

I second this.

I find it lame as .... to push your lil bro in to an underserved seat much more deserved by Cal.

Zarco could have well made the LCR fly as well.

Now we will never know but we will have marc and his .... brother in orange occupying Repsol.

FML this is what I hated so much about Rossi, using his leverage to move .... around even when not deserved and it pisses me off that Marc is doing the same.

Not to worry Mate. Looks pretty definite that this was just a hyped up rumor. Sources are saying HRC's plan was to let AM have a spin on the bike as tip of the hat to MM - with an eye toward bringing AM on board in two years time - if he shows potential. I don't think anybody is kidding themselves that Marquez the younger will ever mirror the accomplishments of big brother, least of all the folks at HRC.

At times it isn't even a direct leverage. It's often that the team is so darned terrified of losing their golden-boy that they wish to do any and everything to please him. I think it a bad move myself. If it were to happen, it would make for a very awkward situation. It's very difficult keeping things professional when family is involved and I don't know what this will do psychologically to Alex. These boys may be great riders but they are boys and can easily be taken advantage of.

I've been reading autosport.com for many years and they are my preferred source because they don't meddle in rumours. They've stated repeatedly in articles that AM looks set to join MM at HRC. Apparently there's renewed strength in the possibility of Zarco joining Avintia.

Absolutely, he doesn’t have to throw his toys out of the pram to get his way at HRC, even an oblique insinuation would likely be effective, and HRC might do it anyway just because they think it might please him. That he probably would win the title on a Ducati must concern them.

I don’t think it is totally outrageous if they do sign AM, he is the Moto 2 champion and iwas also moto 3 champion against jack Miller who is not looking so bad these days, albeit he had to get away from Honda to prosper. Both Pedrosa and MM himself also went straight to factory HRC rides.

As long as HRC have MM it is probably irrelevant who is on the second bike. How it works for AM is a different question, I am not sure how much consolation there is in your team-mate being your brother while he is absolutely smashing you, and HRC haven’t had a non difficult bike since 2014, and it is hard to see who will change this; it would be a bit much to expect AM to be capable of doing so.

Necessity is the mother of invention and in that sense, I'm not seeing Honda easily getting out of the current situation of their bike being difficult to ride. Afterall, MM is getting it to go quickly.

I find myself wishing for the ruthless Honda of the old days.
When they wanted two of the best of the best on their factory machinery, duking it out at the highest level on the big stage:

Prost-Senna
Lawson-Gardner
Rainey-Lawson
Doohan-Gardner

Rossi infected the paddock with his prima donna .... and now all the racers seem to need to be coddled on their team.

Imagine a Rainey or Lawson being concerned with who the guy is on the other bike in the box. No, neither one ofvthem would be.

Another in the new tradition of having a confirmed second fiddle on the second Honda in the factory team.

No wonder really that Zarco did not want to go to Repsol. It would have confirmed his second fiddle status.

Anybody who wins the moto 2 championship twice automatically is second fiddle and has to prove their way out. Biaggi couldn't do it and it looks like Zarco is having an even more difficult time. He can’t even get on to a factory team that matters.

Didn't Zarco turn down partnering MM to go to KTM? Or am I mistaken?

Zarco to Moto2 according to AS.com.

If true...What a ........ Gigi himself offered him an extra support and a GP19, totally winning material.

Aleix Espargaro is right, this guy deserves ..... ........
