If you're talented, doesn't matter which path you take, you'll shine wherever you are and you'll get a chance in MotoGP.
GP guys have the advantage of having experience working with prototype bikes, and the tracks (except Laguna).
WSBK guys have the advantage of knowing how a big, heavy 4stroke engine bike races.
Though nowadays it looks like 250cc has been stablished as a feeder category for youngsters and WSBK the junkyard for dinasours too old for MotoGP (Biaggi, Barros, Checa ....)
