I ride whatever I can get my hands on... But usually, its Italian. (which often means I'm -NOT- riding!)

I've got a '95 Ducati SS/CR with 43K on the ODO. Currently rebuilding the top end with a 95mm HC piston kit, and new valve guides.

I've also got a '99 Ducati SSie which I recently finished "race-izing" into a full fledged race bike. Dont have any pictures of it in race trim yet, so I'll post one from when it was yellow with low-mount exhaust.

And finally, I've got a 1973 Triumph Bonneville 750. I dont really like british bikes, and dislike working on them even more. But this bike was free. Beggars cant be choosers!

Hey Ron,

That picture was taken in Dutchess County NY. Its farm country. Its not too british, because if you look in the skies, it doesnt look like its going to rain all the time.
<

Ha.

Your from the east coast are'nt you? Doesnt it rain all the time there too?

Honestly that countryside could easily be mistaken for England.

The 99 Ducati is cool, not very fast but looks good. Why doesn't it have a plate?

Bet ya neighbours luv you at 8am Sunday mornings

Ron, I thought it was the UK too......................but theres no speed cameras in sight!! lol

Ben do you ever use the M6?

Im in Worcester(just south of Brum) and i prob will be using the M6 to go to Oulton Park on Sept 11th for BSB, ive heard that theres those SPECS cameras that track you for 5miles!!!

Have you ever encountered them? how bad are they?

haha Alex's plate was in his pocket, unless it was the time he lost it - in which case he just didnt care lol.

No it doesn't rain all the time here. I'd say one or two days a week on avg. if that, but it rains more often in certain parts of the year than others.

I have always loved those older Supersports with the half fairing....sigh...
<

Really? No offense Rebel because any Ducati is cool, but I hate half fairings. I am in the market for a first bike and you wouldn't believe all the stuff in my price range that comes with a half fairing. Drives me absolutely crazy. I say put all the plastic on there or none of it, no half assing it.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (thekirbster @ Aug 11 2005, 12:33 PM)<div class='quotemain'>this is my bike i've nicknamed it the beast because of its style and power it has a top speed of 28 mph

AWESOM!!!!!!

I agree with you oost about wanting full fairings over half but, for some reason I love the Look. That doesn't mean I would buy one...obviously I opted for the full fairing model.

The half fairing look just brings back memories of when I was young and drooling over the bikes at Fast By Ferracci...

I honestly prefer the full fairing over the half as well. But the half gives you a nice view of the motor as well as helps cool it.

The Doctor, this bike is slowly turning into one of those FBF 'goodie' bikes.
<
I ordered a set of 95mm HC pistons today, and some FCR's. The goodies start piling up!

I also prefer full fairings too. Anyone remember the Suzuki TL1000S? (it might have been called something different in the US guys) It was that CRAZY Vtwin which they recalled after some manufacturing faults. It was way faster than the Ducati916 but came with Half fairing. I think you had to pay extra for full fairing.

Hee hee my bike happens to be one of those Fast By Ferracci Goodie bikes. My bike is even shown in their catalog....
