Come-on Nicky “Mr 69” don’t get ...... up the ... and the front end, it’s about time you gave it up with Ducati and motogp! Do yourself a favour and don’t get embarrassed anymore, you are a lovely guy and a guy that deserves more then to be humiliated by the Ducati antics, give it up and maybe get onto WBK 2013 and let’s see what you can do there??? But you just haven’t cut the mustard on the Ducati!

I never really liked Nicky, never rated him and was disappointed when he won or finished on the podium, and even turned the tv off when he won his World Championship.

Hmmm, slowly I have come to appreciate him as a rider and even more as a person.

To me, he has shown spirit, heart and determination over the past few seasons (even before his Ducati seat) and this is what I found has me following him.

Should he give it up and move on? Maybe give up Ducati, but I think he may have a couple of seasons left in him before moving on to WSBK.

Charge on 69!

Yep I'll give NH the above in bold - nice guy nothing more nothing less. there's just nothing else to get excited about imo.

As an American, I dig Nicky as a rider, but we all know the results haven't been there. I'd love to see him pull a rabiit out of the hat. The sad thing is that MotoGP is losing likeable riders every year. The current top races might be better than the previous champions, but they are less entertaining to follow. Whatever, more racing, less yapping.

I grew up in Kentucky myself and frankly were mostly a bunch of toothless rubes. Though not the most talented racer, I'm really proud of how he has handled himself in some tough situations and leveraged his racer talents and personality into a successful GP career and managed to grab a World Title. Others of his talent level would have been out on their ear. He has done a fine job of keeping his ego in check and never shys away from his responsibility, sometimes to a fault. Ducati recognize this and are taking advantage of his popularity. Presioso commented just the other day that when the chips are down if everybody at Ducati kept the same attitude Haystack did, that Ducati would be much better off. I recognize he is on borrowed time and I try and refrain from even uttering his name on this forum. But I confess when he gets near the front my heart starts jump'n. I hope he snags a couple more podiums before he moves on.

Not to mention that most of the bumpkins in the state of Kentucky don't even know who the phuck he is.

British Super Bikes

as long as they really do a assen round i'd be all for it

nicky hayden .....great points have been made, he really is the nicest guy and i can very well imagine him being taken advantage of

yes it's true he hasn't set the world on fire ever since 2006 but then again how did his teammates do? the years on the pedrocycle and then as stoners teammate on that red beast aren't really good indicators of how good he could be if once again on a proper motorcycle

his last 3 team mates? pedrosa, stoner, rossi. and i think he's not been put to shame, especially last year i think he did quite well if we don't want to belittle rossis rides.

ifs and buts , i know, but imagine if he had been on say a factory yamaha the past couple of years. as much as i'm impressed with spies, i don't think ben is a better rider than nicky, solely based on my assumption that lorenzo is as good as rossi and hayden seemed closer to rossi than spies to lorenzo...does that make sense?

You might improve your trolling technique by baiting the hook with something more tasty.

( I think Jumkie likes carne asada. )

Go give yourself a swirly and come back when the season starts.

Nicky "The Kentucky Squid" Hayden will go down in history as the most over-rated 'champion'....(and I use that word lightly) in the history of not only MotoGP but racing as a whole, all the way down to club level racing. This guy has been silver spoon fed his whole entire career........ and THAT is the only reason why he's been doing average in his career instead of being great which, given superior equipment at his disposal, should have achieved considerably more.

2 wins and he's a champion....bahahahahahaha. This dude is a joke amongst clowns.

Perhaps Yamaha might pick him up, afterall they are in need of sponsors......and if they can't get sponsors, well......... Nicky "the salesman" Hayden can always sell bikes with a smile like his. Just ask Honda and Ducati.

There is probably more than Nicky that the stick could be pointed at,pal.I personally dont think he has another title in him but I still support the guy.Better off leaving Ducati for basically any other bike where he`s not the test mule.Put him on a CRT,at least him and Colin will give a good battle albeit mid pack.....,who else will sign him now ?
