Wager: MDK or Hayden?

Who in their right mind didn't write hayden off after he preferred the open honda over a good sbk ride?
Someone to either
a.) Be stupid enough to buy the 0.3 seconds off the factory bike bs
Or
b.) Lack any athletic integrity
Cannot be successful. This is just edwards 2.0.
Unfortunate, since i used to like haydens style but by the end of the year his worth as a rider (not the face of tissot) will have plummeted to spies levels

To be fair Prop's, the same could have been said about Rea in his Honda years.
Many people asked why he stuck with that POS Honda for 5/6 years, some assumed it was because Honda were bribing him with a chance of a MotoGP ride but over those years he won the odd race while the likes of Biaggi, Checa, Sykes and Guintoli were winning championships. He jumps on a Kwak in 2014 and makes them all look average, including Sykes who has been on that Kawasaki since 2010.
Also, if he drops to Spies level, you mean a WSBK Champion?
So, I'll admit I'm a fan of Hayden and want him to do the triple, but I wouldnt write him off just yet.

van der Mark is a hell of a rider. Let's not forget he is 11 years younger than Nicky, and is still learning. Now, I don't think we'll see the results of Phillip Island for every race, but he pulled everything out of that bike that he could last weekend. Nicky I don't see doing it. I think Laguna will be his best results, but there's no way I'd wager on Nicky over van der Mark over the season.

Do you actually compare reas hope of scoring a gp seat with the delusional hope to be promoted from open to customer to factory rider?come on. Rea had a goal,sad he was naive enough to let himself be used. Hayden? Come on. Don't insult your own intelligence
And come on,spies is ....... done. You know it,i know it. Used to be his fan but that doesn't mean i cant realize his career is over.

Yes I do compare them, because at the end of 2015 neither one of them was offered a GP ride.
Even Rea has admitted that in his late 20's he is unlikely to be offered a GP ride.

After the 1st Euro round I'll make a prediction. PI is a special circuit as we all know. Nuts to use one race as a gauge. Who knows, Nicky may make history this year by having a Toseland luck of many years gone by. Both Factory Duc riders & sykes my end up being kamikazes this year trying to win at JR expense.

If you really can't spot the difference when it comes to monetary motivation vs trying to be great then you're missing critical thinking skills homie.
Rea didnt have better options. I know for a fact hayden could have been on a front runner sbk for years. But he chose not to. Being a journeyman isn't something dishonorable but it surely doesn't reek of the hunger for glory and ..... i associate with top level athletes.
Don't get me wrong, i would truly love to see him succeed on that new and improved kate blade (anybody reading a rhyme here plz twist ur nipples). But after having a defeatist attitude a fire can't be rekindled imo

I'm not denying Nicky was most likely motivated by money for the last 2 years at Aspar. In fact myself and Jums at least that I recall expressed our disappointment that he didn't take the factory Ducati WSBK offer, but don't fool yourself into thinking that he wasn't offered big money by Ducati for that either.
A lot of us were duped by Honda's claims about the RCVRS. Even Aleix Espargaro said he wouldn't have signed with Forward had he known Aspar were getting them, but he dodged a bullet on that one. Sure, Hayden was lured by money to an extent, but these were his options:
Go to Ducati WSBK on a brand new bike that is unknown and possibly be fighting for top 6.
or
Get a Production GP Honda that supposedly was only 0.3 off the then championship winning bike, easily putting him in the top 4 of GP.
It's always so clear cut with the benefit of hindsight, is it not?
Finally, I know you are a Rea fan but if he is solely trying to be great why didn't he offer to ride one of the Aspar RCV-RS bikes for free in MotoGP 2014 when it was claimed it was only 0.3s off the Repsol bike instead of collecting the money at Ten Kate? And why didn't Honda put him on ANY Honda bike in MGP?

Nobody knew it would be an epic disaster, to the contrary, everybody 'knew' it would be an out of the box satellite bike to rival Tech3, a bargain for a million-five. Teams were lining up to ante up to buy one. Even the daddy everyone likes to .... on because he'd have the audacity to finance his son's career. The Honda proddy was thee best marketed farce that it seems Honda deployed moles to forums to create the facade of excitement, Insider anyone?
Turned out to be the biggest piece of .... ever perpetrated on the unsuspecting satellite suckered who purchased the glorified CBR.
