The premium seats were sold out before they were even on sale this morning.
Fortunately those of us who had seats were able to purchase them again this year. Cant wait!!

wow that fast!?!?!? i had better get busy with those tickets

With the total price including hotel and airfare and everything it is probably much cheaper for me on the East Coast to go to a GP in Europe. I would love to go to Mugello or Donington or Catalunya. I hear the crowds there are amazing and put American crowds to shame.

I certainly won't be spending my money on the USGP, the place is an absolutel circus. They were lucky to make the event such a success with all the annoyances throughout the weekend. And now that hotels that are generally $100 a night are booked for $450 a night with a Thursday Friday Saturday minimum stay for race weekend I will not return. It's simply too expensive, I would much rather fly away to the British, Dutch, Italian or Catalan GPs.

I can recommend you to go to the dutch gp, it's fantastic. It's not to expensive, even I can go and at that time, I didn't even had a job!I spend about $40,- for the 3 nights, and spend about $20,- on food, like dinners/breakfast/lunch for 3 days! going out, well, that's one thing that you have in your own hands how much you want to spent. we sat at the winterdijk, it was about $80-100.
No offens by the german people, but if you're thinking about going to germanyGP, DON'T! the races are great over there, but after the racingday and q-days, there's just nothing happening in the village... they've got 1 podium with a realy cheesy band on fridaynights (if I remember corectly) and they close at 0.00!and that's all...or you just need to go with your own party-friends and build your own party

I'm glad the US GP is popular, Laguna is definately a good race to watch, great track.

I've only been at the Valencia GP, I'd like to go to a GP outside Spain, Jerez and Montmelo are pretty much the same thing as Valencia. +100 000 fans cheering for Dani and Sete !!!

Assen, Laguna, Philip Island or Donny are the most appealing to me.

ive heard of places like jerez and other spots not liking to acknowledge that they are part of spain. why is this?

Jerez doesn't have that problem, but Cataluña does. There's a part of the population there, that would prefer that Cataluña was an independent country, the last few years their political party (ERC) has made it to the regional government, they spread this propaganda about Cataluña being independent, which is not true (so far).

For example the real name of the circuit is Montmeló, but they decided to change it to Circuit de Catalunya as a publicity stunt a few years ago.

Yeah this is good & bad!!

Good for the USGP & motoGP in the states........it shows that theres a real interest in the sport. Bad if your trying to get tickets & cant! lol

it's great for the sport. From all of the complaints about traffic and prices of things I am not in as big of a rush to go to one. I would love to go but not if everything has been inflated pricewise..

I have mixed feelings. I'm too much die hard a fan to just skip out, but i wanted to have paddock passes. Unfortunately i had other obligations and absolutely could not order my tickets thursday, but instead had to wait till today, friday. Well, Paddock passes sold out within a day. I don't see the value of going there and not being allowed in the paddock. I'd rather save 1500 bucks and watch it from home if i can't have that experience.

I also think it's a crock that 28 people from the nicky hayden site were denied their interest in buying a paddock suite for the event, because they wanted the people who bought them last year to have dibs. Why should no other groups ever be allowed in there cause the original people want to do it again? Kinda lame...

Now i really DO hope they have another US round at Barber or somewhere else, so we at least have the fair shot at getting a paddock suite.

If i can find face value paddock tickets, I will go again in 2006. If not, no way do i do it. Not worth it, imo. If i hadn't gone this year i might, but no way - not without at least the paddock passes.

To true. Catalunya is just amazing, but the noise drives u CRAZY! And thats just in barcelona!!

i would really love to get out of the US. especially to see a MotoGP event. Assen, Donington, and any of the circuits in spain really appeal to me. i have only been to Mexico and well its a little different but they still drive on the right side of the road. theres a lot to see in mexico, but nothing like a MotoGP event.

Thankfully i might have a pair fo tix with paddock afterall, thanks to a friend on another forum.

If i were to leave the states for a gp i would go all out and head to Phillip Island. Probably the most expensive of all to go to from here, but That's where it'd be!
