yep, it all counts. rossi on the other hand looks like he needs the walking frame haha!

Rossi is looking very skinny and under weight these days. Is this a tell about some of the problem ? Trying to shed the weight to keep up with the fly weights ?

Trying their best to extend championship. The Yams were falling off after 10 laps, so here we have a 10 lap and a 9 lap sprint.

I would demand my ....... money back. What transpired that changed the 26 and 14 strategy

they havent said yet. the most ive heard is an exact copy of the first statement, except change 14 laps with 10. they must be worried.

they did say earlier though that the problem is inside the tyre, not outside. once they cut it open, the issues present themselves.

There will be small print on the ticket i expect. If there wasn't peeps would be demanding a refund for a red flagged race.

He is but it was only practice and so whilst you may think the need to test speed, the need to test that he makes no errors is more improtant so I do not read anything into it.

What was interesting for me though was the riders coming to the left to then go right onto the 2nd bike (ie. Marquez) where others went left to teh new bike (ie. Rossi). Would love to know if there is a reason but suspect it is just personal preference and comfort (they did talk of having the bike straight and no need to 'swerve out' but not sure personally)

No news yet Pov but (as someone said earlier) there was talk that the internal damage to the tyre was quite severe

true gaz, probably better not to drop the ...... in front of your pit garage yeah? :) (which marc just may, the way he is flying off that honda!)

An injured or worse rider is one thing. Incompetence is another. There is no doubt small print that ensures you wont get ...., but by god, they would  have to tell me and thousands to my face. F1 stepped up and did the right thing after the Indy debacle, Moto Gp needs to do the same.

Looks like a ring of the tread is overheating and tearing loose from the carcass.  You can see one small chunk of missing rubber, and the tire looks ready to shed a lot more.  I bet this zone of delamination is very clear once the tire is sliced open.

To be fair, Dunlop have ...... up as well as Bridgstone this weekend. Dunlop ...... up last race too. Its a shambles.

Yup.  There's more than enough blame to go around.

"So, Ezzy, please tell us; how did those 'cost saving' testing restrictions work out for you??"

The end of competition between tyre manufacturers had the potential to do this and now it has. This is Carmelo and Honda's chicken home to roost. It is a shame to see a 14 lap moto2 race. What a joke.

In very simple terms team and tyres would test at different tracks (specifically those resurfaced) for an advantage against the competitor. No one has conducted any PI testing (except Pirelli in WSBK) and its this that has caused this.

First tyres, then electronics, The problem with homogeneity is the tracks and conditions are so different. Screw Dorna and their "she'll be right"management of this. Carmen should be arrested before he leaves the country and charged with fraud.

I would rather have seen 2 short races with half points for each race. This 13 lap race is ......... I can totally understand the Aussies being right pissed off and feeling con'ed

Testing was always going to be difficult mid-season though, I don't think the resurfacing was completed until this year (could be wrong). The blistering is happening within the tyre and when they cut some open after warm up, they realised it was worse than expected.

Hope nobody drops it in pitlane trying to save half a second on the bike swap.

P.S Gardner needs to give his kid a fricken haircut. "No passing the Dad on the parade lap" haha.

I was under the impression they had finished last year.

Honda pulled Casey in and paid him in turnips and farm equipment to do some testing (don't know if that was mentioned but he nailed awesome times on the customer bike).

All they had to do was get a bike and do some high speed race simulations with a fast guy in decent temperature and they would have got some data, enough to have prevented this shitfight anyway.

I think my point is, that if competition existed someone would have found the time to test, with current or close to that level rider. This is an abortion.

The single tyre rule bought in to make the racing less about tyres. Well .... me ezy , thats all this meeting is about !
