Has anyone else read Mat Oxley's column in bike this month? Oxley is a very credible bike journalist, and the article makes great reading. It may get the backs up of a lot of members on here, but there are a lot of points in there about how racing is going that guys have made on here,(myself included) that have been dismissed or derided by others.

Try and blag a read of it.

Don't suppose you feel kind-hearted enough to scan the article and post it? By the time us Antipodeans see it in the shops (4-6 weeks) you'll have forgotten why you posted the article.

Please, with Castrol R on it.

So then, Rog will feel the same as he always does. Unless "smug" means something different in the UK. (Here it means, conceited, self-righteous, arrogant).

Is that the same Mat Oxley who ghost writes Rossi's magazine article for him?? Boy thats bound to be an unbiased read that will be so devoid of spin I will just have to believe everyword
<
<

Seiously guys ..... its like watching fish in a bowl waiting for the food to be dropped in
<

Well good luck with it anyway, lets hope it gives Rossi a few more Horsepower and raises his tyres friction coefficient. Then as we all know the 08 season is all sewn up.
<

I also note Oxley seems to have forgotten that Stoner is a long way of for Rossi to catch yet .... he first has to overcome Pedrosa
<
At least Stoner and Ducati know where there biggest real threat is
<

I just wish TC was working better for "the Spin Doctor"
<
<
...... it obviously still lets a lot of "spin" get through

You might want to find out the content of the article before you write things. It's not about Stoner or Rossi, it's about technology you spanner.

You might want to check what gets thrown in your bowl mate, you may just choke on it when you bite.

no need to back pedal ..... I'll turn around and get the article

http://sameerkumar.blogspot.com/2007/12/mo...yamaha-yzr.html

thats the one that paragraph was about ...... and I was left thinking .... what! .... now heres a journo saying its Rossi v's Stoner ........ forgetting that currently its Pedrosa V's Rossi then they have a looong way to Stoner .......

go on tell me he's not a bit Rossicentric .... its all more blame the Yamaha again

And the bandwagon starts a rolling on again

I can answer that - No. In fact no one would have IMHO.

Having said that I'm not so sure anyone else could have won on the Ducati either.
Loris and Marco seem to have all sorts of problems which seems to indicate the bike is difficult to ride.
