1958 was the last Catalina GP to date, but It seems there is going to be a 2010 Catalina Grand Prix!

Wonder if Yamaha will go and try to finish the job...

Yes J4rno, it was like a Isle of Man TT through the streets, and just as dangerous. LINK



I got a phone call last week from the same guy I helped paint fairings for AMA races in Fontana. He wants me to help him for the 2010 Catalina GP. Should be fun but cold because its in December. But the small island is fun and combine that with motorcycle races, what's not to like, eh.

That's hysterical! I love the part about "that's the last Yamaha they'll ever send over here. One of the three

top finishers in that race was the great character tough guy actor Keenan Wynne who was a huge motorcycle fan in

his youth.
