The Other riders

It did have to do with ... and chick actually. I said Yonni Hernandez's girlfriend has an epic ...! Fact

??? They were in the queueing behind me flying out of Austin the other year and there's nothing on the girl.

Now if you'd have said that about Hector's ex missus, she would have put you on your arse.

Radha, I strongly suspect, avatar, member name and signature aside, that I have met you in a previous incarnation.

Arrabbiata1
We all have been king for a day and fool for a lifetime.
He, who practice to remember Me, undeviated from the path, and at the time of death, quits his body, remembering Me alone, at once attains My nature. After attaining Me, the great souls never return to this temporary world, which is full of miseries- wherein repeated birth and death take place, because they have attained the highest perfection

Dasja vu perhaps?

Wait, wasn't this thread supposed to be about the "other" riders? It has already been hijacked by the Stoner-Rossi epic debate. Great.

Let me contribute:
Stoner tried two bikes, both worked for him.
Rossi tried three bikes, two out of three worked for him.
So what we know as a fact is that both of them could win on two different bikes.
Now, until Stoner returns and tries a third bike, and settles the dispute once and for all, we could lay this matter to rest.

About the "other" riders: Viva Yonni Hernandez! :)

J5rn0, that is the beauty of this forum. Even when we steer away from the topic, we don't need anybody cattle prodding us to get back on topic to preserve some lofty delusion of achieving forum consciousness of peace and unity as if this is some deity state we must achieve. We are happy to rehash this contentious debate regarding VR/ Duc's apparent absentee era from what his supporters describe as owning everybody. Clearly, VR had taken a hiatus from any supposed status during those years on the Duc.

Irrespective of any modifications to this narrative, that is during his Duc years, its quite clear absent any revisions, that it was an unmitigated disaster for all involved. But this is a highly contentious topic, as you point out, derailing many threads. It was not so long ago that this very topic was discussed, and if you look back to it, even those who claim to uphold forum virtue and standards of etiquette conducted themselves in condescending smug and vitriolic terms. Even Heisman, who I have met, and is knowledgeable and lives a natural form of life, mild mannered, and speaks after profound meditation, was subjected to mantra of members, one particularly with a superiority complex. But that is often the allure of this forum, Powerslide, one that people are free to express themselves, as there are other more sterile forums as a matter of fact, one could easily join if that is what you want, where the moderation is never rusty, and members banned to be tossed away in a bucket.

Maybe my memory is ... backwards. But I'm sure that is what I saw, though I admit, I was at the rear end of the cue when I looked over a Yonni. Perhaps we are not talking about the same bovine? Or he got rid of her for obvious reasons, which from your description of her, was the right thing to do. Are you sure you got a good look and not at the caboose end of the cue?

They were directly behind me. She was a very, very beautiful Latin American girl, but built like a Santiago street urchin.

So she's a butter face?
Allow me to put this in perspective, there are three books on my nightstand: the Bible, Nicky Hayden's biography, and the current month's Buttman hardcover edition. Female faces go largely unnoticed when im judging a woman's character.

Could we perhaps add the Upanishads or the Bhagavad Gita to your bedside reading given the latest visitation / newest incarnation?

Hahhahaha

Oh for .... sake.

Speaking of Willski Male...that actually reminds me of a conversation I had with him. He told me he has no idea what he weighs in terms of pounds or klingongrams. I thought that was crazy.

Been through the universally accepted measurement of body weight ( in the UK ) with some American colleagues...11 stone. Yeah they'd never heard that.

Then had a conversation about crumpets. Took forever

Just as she did Hector. :D

Much arse in the Bible....

Only if it's a Willski edition.

I dunno, Jum may well stumble across this while he's reading his scripture before bedtime...

'The more the words, the less the meaning, and how does that profit anyone?' (Ecclesiastes 6:11)

Personally though, I prefer Mark Twain's famous caveat...

'Never pick a fight with someone that buys ink by the barrel'.

11stone = 154lb or 70Kg
I was that weight when I was 13 and skinny as hell but at 6'6" I would be.

Mmmm Crumpet, I like both sorts.

I was thinking, can we add Casey Stoner to this thread? I mean he would qualify as the OTHER RIDERS.
