Don't let the good looks fool you. I am saddend to say but we all know that these things are going to put the real bikes on the chopping block as soon as they can. Good looks, efficient, no emissions, etc. Seems like the global environmentally concious are trying to win the war with something like this as soon as they can. HO hum.

Recently found one of these beauties for sale nearby my home, and I might just but it to piss off those environmentalists.

I am all for being green, but you can only take it so far, and this idea, and 90% of the other ideas out there are taking it way past what is reasonably possible.

Firstly, we will be riding traction vehicles for at least 10 years. Laws of aero dynamics have not changed either. Thus, motorcycles will remain about the same, regardless of power plant. I imagine that even some type of fuel tanks will be necessary for electric vehicles to power a backup generator. Electric bikes also offer benefits, like a totally linear torque curve and programmable power pulses.
Having lighter bikes, that could be identically styled to the best MotoGP designs is not a problem to me. If you want V-Twin style power delivery or IL4 rushes, progamming can allow for those options.

The forks we see in concept motorcycles have been around for a while and only caught on with BMW. The only radical changes I can forsee is in wheel engines and optional ABS/traction control. Fine by me! Take a look at Tesla Motors and their performance specs. If that's not appealing, maybe you should stick to stakeboards.

Well it has two wheels and tons of excellent engineering so you have to be a fan. I think they are a good long way from the MotoGP circuit.

I can feel a lawsuit coming on. I designed that car when I was a two year old!

YEah I am all for making a better tomorrow with materials that are recyclable and such but a motorcycle without sound and a visceal experience that is watered down is not a future I am looking forward to. Sure they will some day be the cool new fangled thing but only until the rest of the public is brainwashed.

Global warming is a load of Bull!! its just an excuse for the oil companys to charge you 3 times as much, only for you to use 3 times less.

Sound is very important to me in a bike too. It gives important feedback on power delivery and limits.
Have you ever ...... a girl who didn't moan, yell or speak? It's the worst.
Electric bikes would be like that if nobody added sound. Thankfully, the tech is there to do this.
