Third win in a row by Marc, and another race where people elsewhere is complaining about boring races... seems like the "most exciting motorsport" has gone the path of F1, but why? what caused this sudden change? is it related to the fact that hard-fought battles between riders are now forbidden as an unwritten rule?

So... how long until Carmelo begs Marc to return to his old-self? the man seems more determined than ever. He was trying to be a good guy bringing excitement to the championship when he didn't need to. The man is head and shoulders above the rest and he's making a statement: this is what happens when you tell me to drop racing out of the equation, I hope you like returning to the times of Doohan because I will crush everyone's hopes.

But hey, Rossi now is getting his comfortable races that he sought so much. No need to fight anybody at that age, too much stress. So what will Carmelo pick, Rossi's happiness amidst tanking ratings (if things continue like this), or will he beg Marquez to bring excitement again? after all the tricks to make things more "equal" (tyre shenanigans and so on), seems like they're not enough to stop MM. What will the next stratagem to stop Marc from shining?

Totally agree. This season bids fair to be a repeat of 2014 except with him taking less risks and winning by smaller margins.

As is proverbial, you need to be careful what you wish for.

Rossi tries to throw water on Marc's fire, he's done it since 2015, tho he's an old lad so his eyesight ain't perfect and he always ends up throwing gasoline instead.
