I don't understand why a night race is exciting. What will it have that is better (or different enough to be interesting) enough to make it worthwile. I think its all about the time differences really.

it will be cooler and the air denser so the bikes will be faster, plus its different, variety is the spice of life so they say.

I don't know whether to like it or not. It sounds quite good, but there's something that I don't like about it and I don't know what.

Is it that you know that its been done simply for money? Also it could be that you know it'll be either so lit it may as well be day time, or dark and harder to see. I'm not feeling good about it, but we'll see how it goes

They are running it at night with the hope that the granstands will be poorly lit so no one will notice that there are only 3 people there watching it!
How we can have a race there and not have a race in Turkey is beyond me!

So how does the practices run then thats my question because at the night its gonna be cooler so if they run practice during the day how is that gonna help when they run the race at night with completely different conditions

Gotta agree with that one. Hate the Losail track, its got no atmosphere.
Istanbul was a great track.

thats an interesting point. i would assume that practice and quali would also be held at night, but you no what they say about assumption
