Well the second qualifying session has just finished. We’ve had a good day, bar the incident at the start of the session involving MSS Colchester Kawasaki team mates Stuart Easton and Gary Mason. Although Stuart Easton has suffered a serious leg and hip break, initial fears were that the injuries suffered, were a lot worse. We wish him a speedy recovery. Gary Mason went to hospital for a check-up but thankfully he is ok.

Damn - Stuart was looking good this year, I was heartened that there are many in the BSB paddock that hadn't lost faith in him. He would have been a major protagonist in the title race.

Terrible news. I have watched 2 rounds of BSB this year and he was probably the rider who impressed most. Anyway, wishing him a fast recovery.

Gutted for Easton, i dont agree with riders doing these road races during the season, and Easton was looking good after the last round.

.... i like the dude and getting the colchester guys to the pointy end has been a very good effort.

i was a coppice last year at cadwell and looking up towards charlies and seeing his off there i feared the worst knowing cadwells short run off

I agree that riders should not do road races in the season however who says his sponsers & management have not requested his appearance?

I also agree with bigbang that Stuart has been one of the most impressive riders out there in bsb & its my first year of viewing.

That's a bummer for Easton. He's looked very competitive and consistent so far this season. Certainly more consistent than any other rider in BSB at the moment.

Easton has a deal with Kawasaki for 2012.

Also Alex Lowes will be standing in for him at Thruxton.

i think Lowes is doing the season sure i saw something on twitter i hope he does well he's done well on the evo bike
