It wasnt hate for stoner, it was for the bandwagon fans (hundreds) that all of a sudden joined this place all spouting fanboy .... and attacking rossi fans rather than talk facts and racing. Just look how few are left now to prove this !
It was all stoner bla bla when we all saw how much faster the bike was down the catalunya straight. If that were true he would have also gained ground on the twisty bits rather than loose there only to re-gain it on the straight again. Stoner fans would not hear of it. The stoner hate started when he started winging and that was exacerbated by his over zealous fans. Where the .... were all of you before the 07 season ?? Most of you have never even been to a real gp using distance as your excuse. i have traveled 14000 miles to see a race before you ask.
'chopperman' its fair enough and I do agree with and…but…the duke was faster for cappa too and where did cappa end up in 07? melandry what happened to him on the duke…ohh...hayden…ohh…hes just woken up and as soon as he starts getting 4th’s wow that is a great result (what happened at Mugello..crashed) now .... happens and it also happens to the great rossi…so plz don’t generalize by labeling stoner fans as overzealous, bandwagons fans, fanboy’s etc and ‘where the .... were all of you before the 07 season ??’ well for a start lots of us didn’t know about this forum before that…because we could have been here for the ‘doohan era’ and I was one of them I was on a different forum and predicted stone’s success for 07 and I got remarks that im mad off my head etc…
now 'chopperman’ stoner s a racer and he rides the crap out of that duke irrespective of the setup be it great good or average and when a rider rides like that then things do go wrong and crashes are bound to happen…but then when the duke is performing to its very best then u get comments like u make that ‘when we all saw how much faster the bike was down the catalunya straight’ blah blah blah so please give credit where its due and motogp is not a sport where things stand still, in 08, 09 & 10 the Yamaha was and is a better bike in setup and speed the duke has not been able to beat it irrespective with or whatever setup that they have tried…the duke had an advantage with the bridgestones now everybody is on bridgestones so please put it into perspective that ducati is a small manufacturer compared to yamaha honda who spend 100’s of millions on r&d and also have the most experienced riders and personnel to develop for them. Yes well I have been to the aust gp since its started here in Australia in 90’s and ive been to le mans, silverstone, catalunya and u do have to appreciate that 4u to go to most gp’s in europe its like us travelling from sydney to melbourne or sydney brisbane which is .... all distance for us…so please put into perspective mate…we love out motogp or any gp type of racing and we have the metal to prove that we do

Most unbiased commentators would probably attribute many strengths to the Yamaha over the Ducati. It is also to my knowledge still yet unexplained why the GP7/8/9, if such a great bike, was unable to be ridden successfully by 2 very successful former World Champions as well as the other riders who had thrown a leg over the rabid beast. If you are able to explain this to back up your assertion that the GP7/8/9 were in fact equal to or better than the Yamaha then the matter can finally be put to rest. Note: we will be able to post your response on every MotoGP forum on the net because the whole non-bopper world is waiting for an answer to this yet to be resolved question.

So Ducati's times this year are slower than last year? I haven't looked into it, but thats bad news if so.

Talk about what you like, present your opinion, read the ones that make sense, and skip or jest with the ones you disagree with. I sometimes like to argue with a few bottom dwellers because its entertaining to see them make fools of themselves fluster to make a response (you need look no further than the lame response you got). It has nothing to do with actual debate (as I beforehand accept they are not capable of it), its just me laughing my ... off at the mindless trying to make an intelligent reply. I know its mean to tease the children, but I got a friend who is fond of saying: "....'em, you know why? ....'em, that's why!"

What, the years of just about every professional commentator saying that they believe the Yamaha is the best bike on the grid is not enough for you or the fact that all the Yamaha's are quite often in the top half of the grid has not tipped you off. Yet most of the Ducati's being in the bottom half of the grid and often filling the last couple of places is justification for it being at least equal to the Yamaha. If you can't make a fair call from this then I am sorry but I can not help you.
If you would like to point out where I have given an obviously biased view of the performance of a bike then I would like to know as I have no preference for manufacturers. So please do not confuse a discussion on bikes with a discussion on riders. I know this is hard for a bopper because bike performance is the easiest way to discredit a rider that beats their object of desire.

Just like the world cup of football ( I refuse to watch it0 we know who will win, Brazil, Italy, Germany, come off it…it gets sooo boring……but please realise? That only then something else is what its ‘NEEDED’ and its going to make ‘motogp’ the best racing on this planet!!! But in this point in time its BOOORRRIIINNNGGG TIMMEEE …and we have to look for the future riders, different aspects of racing in ‘motogp’ for this sport to survive…otherwise it’s going to be boring boring boring and DEAD!..the same things every year in and year out!!!
Just like F1 was at least F1 have got their act together…we need longer races and pit stops to achieve that…motogp is too short and too predictable…get with it cause I’m getting really BOOORREEDDD watching the same .... ever gp…’motogp’ learn from F1 cause ure going to end up like that!
