In my humble opinion I don't think Casey Stoner is at all a bad person or does he have a discusting attitude. What I see is a perfectionist and when things go wrong he gets upset and says/does things that perhaps he shouldn't. He wants to top every practice session, get every pole, win every race easily from the front and when something goes wrong he lets it get to him a bit and he reacts to it. I personally do not think there is anything wrong with this, even if I am myself the complete opposite to him. I think we have to respect all the riders out there, they are all different and that's what makes them each brilliant. If he kept his mouth shut and said nothing, he wouldn't be such a force in the world of Moto GP. All great world champions say and do things that could be questionable...Schumacher, Senna, Rossi...it's just part of the fun and what makes these guys legends in their own right.
If the initiator of the thread wanted a serious if boring thread on a topic which has been done to death he should have initiated the thread with the two videos actually involving behaviour by stoner.
If he wanted this thread, which ended up being fun, posting the cart race video was the way to achieve it. He could have started the thread with an ac/dc video, perhaps "Hell's Bells" given that the world is ending/has ended for you guys, with equal relevance, which would have been off season fun as well.

Check the thread again Rog it was Mdub who inserted ACDC into the topic and he's no fan of Stoners. Then it was Basspete who rambled on about how he used to live near one of the band members, and how well he plays base (it's ok Pete it's in you nic that your a base player - we get it already) and how Australians only know 3 chords. Pete is such a ....... expert on Australia I'm sure one of these days he'll regale us with stories of his many visits to our sunny shores...

I love him too. What i love about him the most is how he just says it how it it, even though he has nothing to gain by saying it. Motogp needs disipline too. I love the way stoner has selflessly appointed himself track police and the way he makes other riders aware of their miss-givings. He lets them know how dangrous the sport is by kicking and punching riders while doing 100 mph. Only by shitting them up in this way will they learn.

Again he is surpassed by valentino though, who magnanimously keeps crashing or attempting to crash into him to give the poor benighted boy the opportunity to show the proper humility and respect only to have it thrown back in his face. He should have been grateful to touch the hem of valentino's racesuit, or perhaps even his helmet, since the opportunity to touch that remained, when the great one deigned to speak to him after torpedoing him. How dare the ungrateful little ....... make a sarcastic remark when such a signal honour is conferred on him.
