Ok, lets put up a new topic, it apears gsfan is tired of the Motegi thread (which I was enjoying). Please no Stoner bashing. I don't want Pinky to blow a fuse.


My money is on Lorenzo. And yes, Casey will get his first podium, a third behind...??? Kidding, actually I think it gonna be between Jorge and Casey for the win.

4 Spaniards to watch, wow: Lorenzo, Peders, Elias, & Gibers. Who will be the hometown flop to torpedo somebody in a desperation attempt to be the hometown hero?

Ahhh much better....do not rule out Pedrosa here. There are too many guys that can hit the podium so the race should be wild. I count 8 guys that could do it. Stoner decimated the field a few weeks ago so maybe his podium is secure unless another mechanical.

Agree, Peders looks to prove a point. I think he was made bold with that exchange in Motegi. Keep in mind the wee-man was still recovering, so a dice with Rossi under that condition must make him feel like superman. (Of course, Puig loves the tights with the big S in the front).

sniff sniff I smell a bit of ambiguity

Last year Pedrosa was a mile in front of everyone. Of course as Lex may point out, if Pedrosa wins by a mile this year he might blow a fuse. As you pointed out there are 4 beloved spaniards in this race. I would suspect that one of them will take the trophy this year. It would be awesome to see Lorenzo up there though. I think Honda have too many variables to still work out.

My vote: Hayden finds instant pace and squeeks out a victory

Last year i kept my hopes for Loreno under control as he was a rookie and i'd never expect him to be a title contender. After two podiums and a solid pre-season i'm starting to get pretty excited, and believe that Lorenzo can win this race. If not him my money is on Rossi

a pedrosa lorenzo battle with lorenzo winning would be great

rossi will be looking to set things straight with his team mate and stoner has a point to prove. all in all the recipe for a great race

this weekend will be the first real test of speed for the year. with qatar being at nite and motegi being meh with all the rain

will ducati be fast on a track they have never been fast on? if so then rossi would be really worried and can rossi beat horhey?

if rossi didnt have issues he would have beat horhay so dont get to excited.....

im expecting stoner to be fast here and competative at the front with rossi, horhay, dani

With all the fireworks in herez, My money is either on Pedroso or Lorenzo..

I always think Jerez, Estoril, Motegi and Stoner don't mix .... so I'm not expecting a Podium from him at Jerez.
