Well he does have the most practice at it than any other rider ...... what with being on the same team as rossi.
I always see the mutual respect between Jorge, Casey, Dani and now Mark as a product of "knowing what its like" to be having to put up with the .... that is imposed on them by dorna so as to allow the gullible idiotic masses of the boppers to continue to fill the coffers.
Lorenzo was probably just being honest. Im pretty sure he knows how to be respected by Stoner as well as respect Stoner. This PC call just smacks of another of the boppers calling it 100% incorrectly in an attempt to belittle rossis competition hence justify their worship of him and all the crap that he does and is.

Lorenzo understandably has massive respect for Stoner a's Stoner does for him. I remember a few years ago he said that if he could do anything any other rider could do it would be to have the ability to be quick straight away like Stoner. When Stoner retired he said it was a shame because MotoGP had lost one of the most talented riders in history.
Which would actually be very good because that Duc has really killed careers, Mika Kallio, Aoyama, even Valentino Rossi who literally run back to Yamaha with his tail between his legs after two years of embarrassment. Stoner coming back on a Duc and actually winning a race alone would be a hell of a feat even, given no one has won on that bike since he left.
Amazing aren't it. Added on to the fact that Ducati now has a test rider much quicker than their in-season riders. He could wipe the floor with their butts and not even make a meal of it.
